Application research of supply chain management for construction industry

Abstract:With the rapid development of national economy, the construction industry has been fast developed. At the same time, the industry encounters some new problems, such as: slow response, disadvantaged financing and uncontrollable cost, low risk resistance capacity etc. These situations have seriously restricted the healthy development of construction industry. The supply chain management theory emphasis the system integration and the information sharing, applied to many several fields. This paper references the system integration thought of supply chain management to conduct the thorough analytical study on the application and value chain in the construction industry based on the supply chain management theory, and combining the actual situation of construction industry put forward the concrete countermeasures and suggestions. Consequently, the application of the supply chain management theory is able to obviously enhance the core competence and promote the harmonious development of the construction.
