Abstract:By using the traveling wave reduction method, the exact solutions to the (1 + 1)-dimensional Zakharov equation, Kortewegde Vries equation with variable coefficients are obtained with the aid of exact solutions to the cubic nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation.

Abstract:In this paper, we test the validity and reliability of the (G′/G)-expansion method by applying it to get the exact traveling wave solutions of the (2+1) dimensional Boussinesq and Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation and the nonlinear heat conduction equation. The traveling wave solutions are obtained in three forms. Being concise and less restrictive, the method can also be applied to many other nonlinear partial differential equations.

Abstract:In this paper, by introducing some appropriate transformation and with the help of symbolic computation, we study exact travelling wave solutions for the high-order modified Boussinesq equation, a single nonlinear reaction-diffusion equation and a generalized nonlinear Schrödinger equation with nonlinear terms of any order by use of the extended-tanh method. Thus, some new exact travelling-wave solutions, which contain kink-shaped solitons, bell-shaped solitons, periodic solutions, combined formal solitons, rational solutions and singular solitons for these equations, are obtained.

Abstract:By using the general solutions of a coupled Riccati equations and the relations between them a direct algebra method is described to construct several kinds of closed-form travelling wave solutions for some nonlinear differential equations. By this method three important nonlinear partial differential equations are studied and, in addition to rederiving all known solutions, several new solutions are explicitly obtained with the aid of symbolic computation. Abstract:Abstract This paper presents some new exact solutions which contain soliton solutions, breather solutions and two types of rational solutions for the variable-coefficient-modified Korteweg–de Vries equation, with the help of the multivariate transformation technique. Furthermore, based on these new soliton solutions, breather solutions and rational solutions, we discuss their non-linear dynamics properties. We also show the graphic illustrations of these solutions which can help us better understand the evolution of solution waves.

Abstract:In this article, the unified method, the improved F-expansion method and the modified Kudryashov method are used to obtain the traveling wave solutions of the generalized Zakharov–Kuznetsov equation with variable coefficients. Different types of traveling wave solutions are derived including polynomial solutions and rational solutions by applying the unified method. The polynomial solutions include solitary wave solutions, soliton wave solutions and elliptic wave solutions, and the rational solutions contain periodic type rational solutions and soliton type rational solutions. By means of the improved F-expansion method with Riccati equation, the hyperbolic trigonometric solutions, trigonometric solutions and rational solutions are obtained containing several free parameters. The modified Kudryashov method is also applied to obtain new traveling wave solutions. In addition, the properties of several solutions are represented graphically with the appropriate parameters.

Abstract:In this paper, the Hirota bilinear method is applied to investigate the exact solutions of a (3+1)-dimensional nonlinear evolution equation. The soliton, breather and lump solutions satisfying specific Wronskian conditions are obtained. Especially, starting from the 2Mth-order Wronskian determinant solution, we obtain the determinant expression of arbitrary Mth-order lump solution through the elementary transformation and long wave limit method. Some images are used as examples to illustrate their dynamics. These results can be helpful to understand the propagation processes of nonlinear waves in some nonlinear physical systems, such as fluid mechanics, nonlinear optics and so on.

Abstract:Abstract We present exact solutions for new (3+1)-dimensional nonlinear equations of wave propagation and fluids. We use the tanh/sech method combined with a computer symbolic system for a reliable treatment of this work. We determine a variety of exact solutions for each equation that contains soliton, kink and periodic solutions. The constraints that guarantee the existence of soliton and kink solutions were examined and found to be related to the coefficients k , r and s of the space variables x , y , and z respectively.

Abstract:In this paper, based on a variable-coefficient balancing-act method, by means of an appropriate transformation and with the help of Mathematica, we obtain some new types of solitary-wave solutions to the generalized Benjamin–Bona–Mahony (BBM) equation and the generalized Burgers–Fisher (BF) equation with nonlinear terms of any order. These solutions fully cover the various solitary waves of BBM equation and BF equation previously reported.

Abstract:Applying the generalized method, which is a direct and unified algebraic method for constructing multiple travelling wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs), and implementing in a computer algebraic system, we consider the generalized Zakharov-Kuzentsov equation with nonlinear terms of any order. As a result, we can not only successfully recover the previously known travelling wave solutions found by existing various tanh methods and other sophisticated methods, but also obtain some new formal solutions. The solutions obtained include kink-shaped solitons, bell-shaped solitons, singular solitons, and periodic solutions.

Abstract:In this paper, the solutions of a first-order nonlinear ordinary differential equation with a sixth-degree nonlinear term and Fan's direct algebraic method of obtaining exact solution to nonlinear PDEs are applied to two nonlinear evolution equations, the combined Kdv-MKdV equation and generalized Zakharov equations. As a result, some special exact travelling wave solutions are obtained which include new bell and kink profile solitary wave solutions, bright and dark solitary wave solutions, triangular periodic wave solutions and singular solutions.

Abstract:The traveling wave solutions of the generalized nonlinear derivative Schrödinger equation and the high-order dispersive nonlinear Schrödinger equation are studied by using the approach of dynamical systems and the theory of bifurcations.
