Abstract:Let G be a finite group. We write R(G) to denote the largest soluble normal subgroup of G and put Phi*(G) = Phi(R(G)). We say that a chief factor H/K of G is non-Frattini (non-solubly-Frattini) if H/K not less than or equal to Phi(G/K) (if H/K not less than or equal to Phi*(G/K), respectively). A chief factor H/K of G is called T-central in G provided (H/K) (sic) (G/C-G(H/K)) is an element of F. A normal subgroup N of G is said to be F Phi-hypercentral (F Phi*-hypercentral) in G if either N = 1 or N not equal 1 and there exists a chief series 1 = N-0 < N-1 < .... < N-t = N (*) of G below N such that every non-Frattini (non-solubly-Frattini, respectively) factor N-i/Ni-1 of Series (*) is F-central in G. Abstract:Let F be a class of groups. A chief factor H/K of a group G is called F-central in G provided (H/K)⋊(G/CG(H/K))∈F. We write ZπF(G) to denote the product of all normal subgroups of G whose G-chief factors of order divisible by at least one prime in π are F-central. We call ZπF(G) the πF-hypercentre of G. A subgroup U of a group G is called F-maximal in G provided that (a) U∈F, and (b) if U⩽V⩽G and V∈F, then U=V. In this paper we study the properties of the intersection of all F-maximal subgroups of a finite group. In particular, we analyze the condition under which ZπF(G) coincides with the intersection of all F-maximal subgroups of G.

Abstract:A chief factor H/K of a group G is called F-central if [H/K](G/C-G(H/K)) epsilon F. The product of all such normal subgroups of G, whose G-chief factors are F-central in G, is called the F-hypercentre of G and denoted by Z(F) (G). The finite groups G with factorizations G = AB, where A boolean AND B <= Z(F) (G) for some class of groups F, are studied. Some known results about factorizations of groups are generalized.

Abstract:Let F be a class of finite groups. A subgroup H of a finite group G is said to be F-s-quasinormal in G if there exists a normal subgroup T of G such that HT is s-permutable in G and (H boolean AND T)H-G/H-G is contained in the F-hypercenter Z(infinity)(F)(G/H-G) of G/H-G. In this paper, we investigate further the influence of F-s-quasinormality of some subgroups on the structure of finite groups. New characterization of some classes of finite groups are obtained.

Abstract:Suppose that π be a set of primes and F-fraktur sign a local Fitting class. Let Kπ(F-fraktur sign) be the set of finite π-soluble groups with a Hall π-subgroup belonging to F-fraktur sign. In this paper, we show that the class Kπ(F-fraktur sign) is a local Fitting class. Thus, an interesting Shemetkov question for Fitting classes will be answered positively. By using the result, the F-fraktur sign-radical of a Hall π-subgroup of a finite π-soluble group is described. For an H-function f, we also give the definition and its description of f-radical of a finite π-soluble group. Some known important results follow. © 2007 Heldermann Verlag.

In this paper, we obtain some results about the J(h)-normal subgroups and use them to study the structure of finite groups. Some new characterizations of supersoluble groups, soluble groups and p-nilpotent groups are obtained and some known results are generalized.

Abstract:Let be a Fitting class and F a formation. We call a subgroup N-h,N-f (G) of a finite group G the h-f-norm of G if N-h,N-f (G) is the intersection of the normalizers of the products of the F-residuals of all subgroups of G and the h-radical of G. Let pi denote a set of primes and let (sic)(pi) denote the class of all finite pi-groups. We call the subgroup N-(sic)pi,N-F (G) of G the pi-F-norm of G. A normal subgroup N of G is called pi-F-hypercentral in G if either N = 1 or N > 1 and every G-chief factor below N of order divisible by at least one prime in pi is F-central in C. Let Z(pi F)(G) denote the pi-F-hypercentre of G, that is, the product of all pi F-hypercentra1 normal subgroups of C. In this paper, we study the properties of the pi F-norm, especially of the pi F-norm of a finite group C. Abstract:Let $\sigma =\{\sigma _{i}\ |\ i\in I\}$ be some partition of the set $\mathbb {P}$ of all primes and G a finite group. A set ${{{\mathcal {H}}}}$ of subgroups of G is said to be a complete Hall $\sigma $ -set of G if every member $\ne 1$ of ${{{\mathcal {H}}}}$ is a Hall $\sigma _{i}$-subgroup of G for some $i\in I$ and ${{\mathcal {H}}}$ contains exactly one Hall $\sigma _{i}$-subgroup of G for every i such that $\sigma _{i}\cap \pi (G)\ne \emptyset $. A subgroup A of G is said to be ${{\mathcal {H}}}$-permutable if A permutes with all members of the complete Hall $\sigma $-set ${{{\mathcal {H}}}}$ of G. In this paper, we study the structure of G under the assuming that some subgroups of G are ${{\mathcal {H}}}$-permutable.

Abstract:Let $\X$ be a class of finite groups closed under taking the subgroups, homomorphic images and extensions. By $\D_\X$ denote the class of finite groups $G$ in which every two $\X$-ma\-xi\-mal subgroups are conjugate. In the paper, the following statement is proven. Let $A$ be a normal subgroup of a finite group $G$. Then \centerline{$G\in\D_\X$ if and only if $A\in \D_\X$ and $G/A\in \D_\X$.} This statement implies that the $\X$-ma\-xi\-mal subgroups are conjugate if and only if the so called $\X$-sub\-ma\-xi\-mal subgroups are conjugate. Thus we obtain an affirmative solution to a problem posed by H.Wielandt in 1964.

We say that a subgroup H of G is ${\mathcal{F}}$ -supplemented in G if there exists a subgroup T of G such that G = TH and ${(H\cap T)H_{G}/H_{G}}$ is contained in the ${\mathcal{F}}$ -hypercenter $Z_{\infty}^{\mathcal F}(G/H_{G})$ of G/H G .
