Abstract:It is well-known that, for a finite quiver Γ and its path algebra k Γo ver a field k, the linear-representation category Lin-RepΓ is equivalent to the kΓ-module category kΓ-Mod . The purpose of this paper is to generalize the conclusion to the so- called set-representation category Set-RepΓ and its equivalent category P (Γ)-SET � . The authors firstly introduce the definition of the set-representation category Set- RepΓ and find out its equivalent category P (Γ)-SET � . Secondly, through a finite connected quiver Γ on which all objects of P (Γ)-SETare (positively) graded, they find some interesting relations between the two categories kΓ-Mod and P (Γ)-SET � (see Corollary 3.8 and Corollary 3.9 ), although one of them is abelian while the other is not. We achieved this by studying the geometric equivalence of $k[G]$ which we call circulant coordinate rings.

Abstract:The classical Robinson--Schensted--Knuth correspondence is a bijection from nonnegative integer matrices to pairs of semi-standard Young tableaux. Based on the work of, among others, Burge, Hillman, Grassl, Knuth and Gansner, it is known that a version of this correspondence gives, for any nonzero integer partition $\lambda$, a bijection from arbitrary fillings of $\lambda$ to reverse plane partitions of shape $\lambda$, via Greene--Kleitman invariants. By bringing out the combinatorial aspects of our recent results on quiver representations, we construct a family of bijections from fillings of $\lambda$ to reverse plane partitions of shape $\lambda$ parametrized by a choice of Coxeter element in a suitable symmetric group. We recover the above version of the Robinson--Schensted--Knuth correspondence for a particular choice of Coxeter element depending on $\lambda$.

Abstract:In the present paper, we introduce the generic extension graph G of a Dynkin or cyclic quiver Q and then compare this graph with the crystal graph C for the quantized enveloping algebra associated to Q via two maps ℘Q, Q : Ω → ΛQ induced by generic extensions and Kashiwara operators, respectively, where ΛQ is the set of isoclasses of nilpotent representations of Q, and Ω is the set of all words on the alphabet I, the vertex set of Q. We prove that, if Q is a (finite or infinite) linear quiver, then the intersection of the fibres ℘Q−1 (λ) and KQ−1 (λ) is non-empty for every λ ∈ Λ Q. We will also show that this non-emptyness property fails for cyclic quivers.

Abstract:Let A be the path algebra of a Euclidean quiver over a finite field k. The aim of this paper is to classify the modules M with the property [M] is an element of C (A), where C (A) is Ringel's composition algebra. Namely, the main result says that if \k\ not equal 2; 3, then [M] is an element of C (A) if and only if the regular direct summand of M is a direct sum of modules from non-homogeneous tubes with quasi-dimension vectors non-sincere. The main methods are representation theory of affine quivers, the structure of triangular decompositions of tame composition algebras, and the invariant subspaces of skew derivations. As an application, we see that C (A) = H (A) if and only if the quiver of A is of Dynkin type.

Abstract:Let A = k A be the path algebra of an affine quiver A over a finite field k, with minimal imaginary root n, and C(A) the corresponding composition algebra. By the work of C. Ringel and J. Green, C(A) relates the representation theory of A with the. quantum groups. It has been proved in [11] that C(A) has a triangular decomposition corresponding to the division of the indecomposables into the preprojectives, the regulars, and the preinjectives. However, the proof there needs the assumption that there exists a homogeneous quasi-simple with dimension vector n, and hence it fails for |k| = 2 and of type Dn and Em (m = 6,7,8). The aim of this paper is to give a new proof of this result in which the assumption can be dropped. In this way, a triangular decomposition of C(A) independent of k are obtained.
Representations of Kronecker quivers and Steiner bundles on Grassmannians

Abstract:Let $\mathbb{k}$ be an algebraically closed field. Connections between representations of the generalized Kronecker quivers $K_r$ and vector bundles on $\mathbb{P}^{r-1}$ have been known for quite some time. This article is concerned with a particular aspect of this correspondence, involving more generally Steiner bundles on Grassmannians $\mathrm{Gr}_d(\mathbb{k}^r)$ and certain full subcategories $\mathrm{rep}_{\mathrm{proj}}(K_r,d)$ of relative projective $K_r$-representations. Building on a categorical equivalence first explicitly established by Jardim and Prata, we employ representation-theoretic techniques provided by Auslander-Reiten theory and reflection functors to organize indecomposable Steiner bundles in a manner that facilitates the study of bundles enjoying certain properties such as uniformity and homogeneity. Conversely, computational results on Steiner bundles motivate investigations in $\mathrm{rep}_{\mathrm{proj}}(K_r,d)$, which elicit the conceptual sources of some recent work on the subject.

An extended generalization of RSK correspondence via $A$ type quiver representations

Abstract:Let $\lambda=(\lambda_1 \geqslant \ldots \geqslant \lambda_k > 0)$. For any $c$ Coxeter element of $\mathfrak{S}_{\lambda_1+k-1}$, we construct a bijection from fillings of $\lambda$ to reverse plane partitions. We recover two previous generalizations of the Robinson--Schensted--Knuth correspondence for particular choices of Coxeter element depending on $\lambda$: one based on the work of, among others, Burge, Hillman, Grassl, Knuth, and uniformly presented by Gansner; the other developed by Garver, Partrias, and Thomas, and independently by Dauvergne, called Scrambled RSK. Our results in this paper develop the combinatorial consequence of our previous work of type $A_{\lambda_1+k}$ quivers.

Abstract:By using the Ringel-Hall algebra approach we first present a new proof of Kac's theorem for species over a finite field. The method used here is quite different from earlier techniques. In [SV] Sevenhant and Van den Bergh have discovered an interesting relation between a conjecture of Kac on representations of quivers and the structure of the Ringel-Hall algebras in some special cases. We second show that this relation still holds for species.

Abstract:We use the monomial basis theory developed by Deng and Du to present an elementary algebraic construction of the canonical bases for both the Ringel-Hall algebra of a cyclic quiver and the positive part U+ of the quantum affine sl(n). This construction relies on analysis of quiver representations and the introduction of a new integral PBW-like basis for the Lusztig Z[v, v(-1)] -form of U+.

Abstract:In the present paper we study the geometry of the closed Białynicki-Birula cells of the quiver Grassmannians associated to a nilpotent representation of a cyclic quiver defined by a single matrix. For the special case, where we choose subrepresentations of dimension $\mathbf{1}=(1,\dots,1)$, the main result of this paper is that the closed Białynicki-Birula cells are smooth. We also discuss the multiplicative structure of the cohomology ring of such spaces. Namely, we describe the so-called Knutson-Tao basis in context to the basis of equivariant cohomology that is dual to fundamental classes in equivariant homology.

Abstract:We provide a direct proof of Seidel representation in the quantum K-theory QK(Gr(k, n)) by studying projected Gromov-Witten varieties concretely. As applications, we give an alternative proof of the K-theoretic quantum Pieri rule by Buch and Mihalcea, reduce certain quantum Schubert structure constants of higher degree to classical Littlewood-Richardson coefficients for K(Gr(k, n)), and provide a quantum Littlewood-Richardson rule for QK(Gr(3, n)).

Abstract:Let Q be a quiver. M. Reineke and A. Hubery investigated the connection between the composition monoid, as introduced by M. Reineke, and the generic composition algebra, as introduced by C. M. Ringel, specialised at q=0. In this thesis we continue their work. We show that if Q is a Dynkin quiver or an oriented cycle, then the composition algebra at q=0 is isomorphic to the monoid algebra of the composition monoid. Moreover, if Q is an acyclic, extended Dynkin quiver, we show that there exists an epimorphism from the composition algebra at q=0 to the monoid algebra of the composition monoid, and we describe its non-trivial kernel. Our main tool is a geometric version of BGP reflection functors on quiver Grassmannians and quiver flags, that is varieties consisting of filtrations of a fixed representation by subrepresentations of fixed dimension vectors. These functors enable us to calculate various structure constants of the composition algebra. Moreover, we investigate geometric properties of quiver flags and quiver Grassmannians, and show that under certain conditions, quiver flags are irreducible and smooth. If, in addition, we have a counting polynomial, these properties imply the positivity of the Euler characteristic of the quiver flag.

Suppose that $0\rightarrow X\rightarrow Y\rightarrow Z\rightarrow 0$ is an AR-sequence in the regular component $\mathcal{D}$ of $\mod(T(n),\Omega)$, and $b(Z)$ is the number of flow modules in the $\sigma$-orbit of $Z$. Then the middle term $Y$ is a sink (source or flow) module if and only if $\sigma Z$ is a sink (source or flow) module. A geometric realization for maximal almost pre-rigid representations over type $\mathbb{D}$ quivers

Abstract:We focus on a class of special representations over a type $\mathbb{D}$ quiver $Q_{D}$ with $n$ vertices and directional symmetry, namely, maximal almost pre-rigid representations. By using the equivariant theory of group actions, we give a geometric model for the category of finite dimensional representations over $Q_{D}$ via centrally-symmetric polygon $P(Q_{D})$ with a puncture, and show that the dimension of extension group between indecomposable representations can be interpreted as the crossing number on $P(Q_{D})$. Furthermore, we provide a geometric realization for maximal almost pre-rigid representations over $Q_{D}$. As applications, we prove that each maximal almost pre-rigid representation will determine two or four tilting objects over the path algebra $\Bbbk Q_{\overline{D}}$, where $Q_{\overline{D}}$ is a quiver obtained by adding $n-2$ new vertices and $n-2$ arrows to the quiver $Q_{D}$, and we obtain a representation-theoretic interpretation of the type-$\mathbb{B}$ Cambrian lattices.

Abstract:Gabriel's Theorem states that the quivers which have finitely many isomorphism classes of indecomposable representations are exactly those with underlying graph one of the ADE Dynkin diagrams and that the indecomposables are in bijection with the positive roots of this graph. When the underlying graph is , these indecomposable representations are thin (either 0 or 1 dimensional at every vertex) and in bijection with the connected subquivers. Using linear algebraic methods we show that every (possibly infinite-dimensional) representation of a quiver with underlying graph is infinite Krull-Schmidt, i.e. a direct sum of indecomposables, as long as the arrows in the quiver eventually point outward. We furthermore prove that these indecomposable are again thin and in bijection with both the connected subquivers and the limits of the positive roots of with respect to a certain uniform topology on the root space. Finally we give an example of an quiver which is not infinite Krull-Schmidt and hence necessarily is not eventually-outward.

Abstract:The ring of symmetric functions can be implemented in the homology of \union_{a,b} Gr(a,a+b), the multiplicative structure being defined from the "direct sum" map. There is a natural circle action (simultaneously on all Grassmannians) under which each direct sum map is equivariant. Upon replacing usual homology by equivariant K-homology, we obtain a 2-parameter deformation of the ring of symmetric functions. This ring has a module basis given by Schubert classes. Geometric considerations show that multiplication of Schubert classes has positive coefficients, in an appropriate sense. In this paper we give manifestly positive formulae for these coefficients: they count numbers of "DS pipe dreams'' with prescribed edge labelings.

Abstract:The purpose of this thesis is to present certain viewpoints on the geometric representation theory of Nakajima cyclic quiver varieties, in relation to the Maulik-Okounkov stable basis. Our main technical tool is the shuffle algebra, which arises as the K-theoretic Hall algebra of the double cyclic quiver. We prove the isomorphism between the shuffle algebra and the quantum toroidal algebra U_{q,t}(sl_n^^), and identify the quotients of Verma modules for the shuffle algebra with the K-theory groups of Nakajima cyclic quiver varieties, which were studied by Nakajima and Varagnolo-Vasserot. The shuffle algebra viewpoint allows us to construct the universal R-matrix of the quantum toroidal algebra U_{q,t}(sl_n^^), and to factor it in terms of pieces that arise from subalgebras isomorphic to quantum affine groups U_{q}(gl_m^), for various m. This factorization generalizes constructions of Khoroshkin-Tolstoy to the toroidal case, and matches the factorization that Maulik-Okounkov produce via the stable basis in the K-theory of Nakajima quiver varieties. We connect the two pictures by computing formulas for the root generators of U_{q,t}(sl_n^^) acting on the stable basis, which provide a wide extension of Murnaghan-Nakayama and Pieri type rules from combinatorics.

Abstract:The representations of a quiver Q over a field k (the kQ-modules, where kQ is the path algebra of Q over k) have been studied for a long time, and one knows quite well the structure of the module category modkQ. It seems to be worthwhile to consider also representations of Q over arbitrary finite-dimensional k-algebras A. Here we draw the attention to the case when A=k[ϵ] is the algebra of dual numbers (the factor algebra of the polynomial ring k[T] in one variable T modulo the ideal generated by T2), thus to the Λ-modules, where Λ=kQ[ϵ]=kQ[T]/〈T2〉. The algebra Λ is a 1-Gorenstein algebra, thus the torsionless Λ-modules are known to be of special interest (as the Gorenstein-projective or maximal Cohen–Macaulay modules). They form a Frobenius category L, thus the corresponding stable category L_ is a triangulated category. As we will see, the category L is the category of perfect differential kQ-modules and L_ is the corresponding homotopy category. The category L_ is triangle equivalent to the orbit category of the derived category Db(modkQ) modulo the shift and the homology functor H:modΛ→modkQ yields a bijection between the indecomposables in L_ and those in modkQ. Our main interest lies in the inverse, it is given by the minimal L-approximation. Also, we will determine the kernel of the restriction of the functor H to L and describe the Auslander–Reiten quivers of L and L_.
