Abstract:Electrical impedance tomography (EIT) has the advantages of non-invasive, no radiation and real-time. It is suitable for continuous dynamic monitoring of clinical medicine. Due to the existence of EIT boundary range inaccuracy and artifact. It can be complemented by Ultrasound tomography (UT) with more accurate information on tissue interface. However, due to the structure and dielectric characteristics of biological tissue itself, the ultrasonic transmission process is very complex, and the echo signal contains a lot of media characteristic information. For complex ultrasonic information, the extraction of effective information takes a long time and a large amount of computation. Only extracting the tissue boundary information needed in the echo signal can greatly reduce the amount of computation. The boundary information acquired by the ultrasound is fused with the EIT imaging result by using the method of fuzzy logic. The simulation results of the real distribution model of human abdomen show that the image quality of dual-mode tomography is better than that of EIT single-mode imaging.
