Entrepreneur's Stress, Affect and Effort: Empirical Study Based on Experience Sampling Method

Abstract:This paper uses the experience sampling method to collect the dynamic data of 78 entrepreneurs' stress,affect and entrepreneurial effort.By using the hierarchical linear model to analyze the data,it finds out as follows:time stress entrepreneurs feel would promote entrepreneurs to make more efforts,and situation stress would reduce entrepreneurial effort;stress would bring not only negative affect but also inspire positive affect for entrepreneurs;positive and negative affect have partial mediating effects between entrepreneur's stress and entrepreneurial effort.
