Abstract:Aiming at fully considering the influence of anchorage angle and layer structure of flysch on the stability of bolt stabilized layered slope, safety factors and failure modes of isotropic slopes and flysch layered slopes under different combinations of anchorage angles and dip angles of bedding planes were analyzed by finite element limit analysis method applying implicit joint model. The results show that the safety factor-anchorage angle curves for layered slopes and isotropic slopes both appear left-skewed features. For layered slope, with the dip angle of bedding planes increasing from 0 degrees to 90 degrees, the left-skewed feature increases first and then decreases. As the dip angle of bedding planes of layered slope increases from 0 degrees to 900, the optimum anchorage angle decreases first and then increases. When the dip angles of bedding planes are 40 degrees similar to 70 degrees, the optimum anchorage angles are obviously smaller than that of isotropic slope. The optimum increase rates of safety factor range from 40% to 150% under different dip angles of bedding planes. The smaller the safety factor of layered slope without bolts is, the bigger the optimum increase rate of safety factor is and vice versa. For layered slope without bolts, as the dip angle of bedding planes increases from 0 degrees to 90 degrees. the failure mode shows a progress of sliding-tensile failure,. overall bedding-slip failure, shear-slip failure, overall shear failure. For layered slope with bolts, it tends to occur deep sliding failure when anchorage angle is less than the optimum anchorage angle and tends to occur surface failure when anchorage angle is bigger than the optimum anchorage angle.
