Abstract:Welcome to ChineseCSCW2017, the 2017 12th Chinese Conference on Computer Supported Cooperative Work and Social Computing! This year's ChineseCSCW is sponsored by China Computer Federation (CCF), and organized by Technical Committee on Cooperative Computing (TCCC) of CCF and Southwest University. It's the first time that ChineseCSCW2017 has been an ACM SIGCHI in cooperation conference, whose proceedings are published by ACM ICPS and included in ACM Digital Library. We think this is a fantastic opportunity and start for ChineseCSCW to attract worldwide attentions and connect global Chinese CSCW scholars by cooperation with ACM, the world's largest top educational and scientific society. ChineseCSCW (previously called CCSCW) is a highly influential conference on CSCW and cooperative computing in China with a long history which has been biennially held since 1998 and annually held since 2014. Building academic bridges and platform for both Chinese and overseas CSCW researchers, practitioners and educators, ChineseCSCW investigates innovative models, theories, techniques, algorithms and methods, specially systems and domain-specific applications, for CSCW and social computing from both social and technical aspects. ChineseCSCW consistently follows a rigorous double-blind review process. We had 84 submitted papers and 21 were accepted as full papers (i.e. an acceptance rate of 25%) for presentation at the conference. The program also includes 18 posters and 12 demos. Prof. Ning Zhong of Maebashi Institute of Technology, Japan will open the conference, speaking on Big Data Based Wisdom Service: A Brain Informatics Based Systematic Approach.
