Abstract:p-Xylene liquid phase oxidation would be accelerated by the addition of zirconium or hafnium ions to the Co/Mn/Br catalyst system. In this paper, the activating catalysis mechanisms of Zr and Hf promoters were presented concisely, and a series of PX oxidation experiments at different Zr and Hf concentrations were carried out. A well-known kinetic model was employed to fit the data and the rate constant for each oxidation step was obtained. The rate constant data show that the effect of Zr and Hf additives on the reaction rate of different stages of PX oxidation is various, and hafnium is more active than zirconium. In the other hand, CO_X productions data illustrate that the burning rate increase with adding Zr and Hf in a different extent.
Improvement on the Kinetic and Thermodynamic Characteristics of Zr1-xNbxCo (x = 0–0.2) Alloys for Hydrogen Isotope Storage and Delivery

Abstract:In order to promote the application of ZrCo alloy in storage and delivery system of hydrogen isotope, Zr1-xNbxCo (x = 0-0.2) alloys were prepared by induction levitation melting method under argon atmosphere. The effects of Nb substitution for Zr on the microstructure, initial activation behavior, dehydrogenation thermodynamics, disproportionation behavior and cycling stability of Zr1-xNbxCo (x = 0-0.2) alloys were systematically investigated. The results show that all alloys contain a ZrCo main phase and a little secondary phase of ZrCo2. With the content of Nb increasing, the lattice parameters of ZrCo main phase decrease and the distribution of ZrCo2 secondary phase is more uniform. It is found that the initial activation period is remarkably reduced from 87.79 h for ZrCo to 8.08 h for Zr0.8Nb0.2Co. Meanwhile, the equilibrium pressure of hydrogen desorption is enhanced from 0.197 (x = 0) to 0.85 bar (x = 0.2) at 350 degrees C, which is beneficial to delivery of hydrogen isotope. Further experiments exhibit that the anti-disproportionation performance and cycling stability have been greatly improved after Nb partial substitution, which could be explained by the enlargement of the apparent activation energy from 147.8 kJ/mol (ZrCo) to 182.1 kJ/mol (Zr0.85Nb0.15Co) for disproportionation reaction. An Alloying Element Screening Method to Design Zr2Co Based Alloys with Superior Disproportionation Resistance

Abstract:Zr2Co alloy has received considerable attention as a potential tritium-getter material in the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor, while its poor disproportionation resistance hinders the practical application. Alloying is a modification method to enhance the properties of hydrogen storage alloys, but it is costly to explore the modification effects of various alloying elements on the disproportionation resistance of Zr2Co alloy through conventional trial and error experimental methods. Therefore, the present work explores a screening method based on theoretical computations to predict the influence of partial substitution of Zr by Hf, Sc and Y on the disproportionation resistance of Zr2Co based alloys. Furthermore, Zr 1.9 M 0.1 Co (M = Hf, Sc, Y) alloys corresponding to the computational models were prepared and their disproportionation resistance was compared by experimental methods. The results show that alloying improves the disproportionation resistance of Zr2Co based alloys by modulating the hydrogen binding energy and the partial substitution of Zr by Hf exhibits better modulation effect. The consistency of the computational and experimental results confirms the validity of the screening method. Subsequently, the influences of partial substitution of Co by Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni and Cu on the disproportionation resistance of Zr2Co based alloys were evaluated by the screening method, showing that Fe and Ni elements have better modification effects. Finally, a qualified tritium-getter material of Zr 1.8 Hf 0.2 Co 0.8- Fe 0.1 Ni 0.1 alloy with excellent disproportionation resistance was designed and prepared. This work provides definitive guidance on the compositional design of tritium-getter materials.
Enhancing Disproportionation Resistance of Zr2Co-based Alloys by Regulating the Binding Energy of H Atom

Abstract:Considering the scarcity and radioactivity of tritium, developing efficient tritium recovery and storage technology is essential for the safety and stability of nuclear fusion reactions. Zr2Co alloy is a prospective tritium-getter material, while its poor disproportionation resistance limits the practical application. To address this issue, Zr2Co alloy was modified by alloying and Zr2Co0.9M0.1 (M = Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu) alloys were prepared. Performance test results indicate that all Zr2Co0.9M0.1 alloys exhibit the main phase corresponding to Zr2Co phase and their hydrogenation phases belong to Zr2CoH5 phase. Alloying improves the hydrogen storage capacity and reduces the hydrogenation equilibrium pressure of Zr2Co alloy. Zr2Co0.9Cr0.1, Zr2Co0.9Mn0.1, and Zr2Co0.9Fe0.1 alloys have hydrogen storage capacities above 2 wt% and hydrogenation equilibrium pressures approximately 10-7 Pa at room temperature. Furthermore, Zr2Co0.9M0.1 alloys have better disproportionation resistance compared to Zr2Co alloy. Notably, Zr2Co0.9Fe0.1 and Zr2Co0.9Ni0.1 alloys possess interstitial sites with moderate hydrogen binding energies, resulting in stronger disproportionation resistance than that of other alloys. Therefore, Zr2Co0.9Fe0.1 alloy is the most promising tritium-getter material among the studied materials. The cycling performance of Zr2Co0.9Fe0.1 alloy is investigated and a superior capacity retention of 94% is found out. This work shed light on the further exploration of tritium-getter materials.
A new strategy for remarkably improving anti-disproportionation performance and cycling stabilities of ZrCo-based hydrogen isotope storage alloys by Cu substitution and controlling cutoff desorption pressure

Abstract:ZrCo1-xCux (x = 0–0.3) alloys for hydrogen isotope storage were prepared via induction levitation melting. The effects of partial substitution of Cu for Co on the microstructure, hydrogen storage properties including hydriding-dehydriding kinetics, thermodynamic characteristics, cycling stability and related mechanism have been systematically investigated. It is found that all synthesized alloy ingots consist of ZrCo main phase, the grain size is further refined but the segregation of Cu element at grain boundary is more serious with the increase of Cu content. The pressure-composition isotherms for dehydrogenation show that both ZrCoH3 and ZrCo0.9Cu0.1H3 hydrides undergo one-step desorption, while ZrCo0.8Cu0.2H3 and ZrCo0.7Cu0.3H3 hydrides experience two-step desorption since a new middle hydride phase of ZrCoH0.8 with CrB-type orthorhombic structure is discovered during their dehydrogenation. This result is proposed to be linked with the changed electronic structure and lattice distortion induced by Cu substitution. To compare their dehydriding kinetics, the apparent activation energies for hydrogen desorption of different hydride phases in the alloys are also calculated systematically, and the value of Ea for hydrogen desorption of ZrCoH3 phase is decreased from 118.02 kJ/mol to 95.90 kJ/mol, 77.98 kJ/mol and 78.65 kJ/mol, respectively. Prominent cycling stabilities of the Cu-substituted alloys are obtained and follow the trend: ZrCo0.8Cu0.2 > ZrCo0.7Cu0.3 > ZrCo0.9Cu0.1 > ZrCo. Specifically, the optimum cycling stable capacity of ZrCo-based alloy is increased from 0.4 wt % to 1.21 wt %. Furthermore, the ZrCo0.8Cu0.2 alloy exhibits further enhanced cycling stability during the cycle by controlling cutoff desorption pressure at 0.253 bar, where only the first-step dehydrogenation happens. Therefore, a new strategy for improving anti-disproportionation performance of ZrCo-based alloys by controlling cutoff desorption pressure is also proposed, which is in favor of the enhanced cycling stability and further application of Cu-substituted ZrCo-based alloys for hydrogen isotope storage and delivery in the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER).

Abstract:This work attempts to develop a multiphase field model to study ZrCoHy, ZrH2, and ZrCo2 phase formation paths in the ZrCoH0.5 matrix. Interestingly, one conserved phase-field variable (c) and four non-conserved phase-field variables (φi) are utilized to construct free energy function, where c represents the hydrogen concentration and φi stands for the ZrCoHx, ZrCoHy, ZrH2, and ZrCo2 phase, respectively. Some valuable material parameters, like as the Gibbs formation enthalpy, are also taken into account. Importantly, the system energy fluctuation is taken as the driving force of phase evolution, and then governing equations are solved by self-programming complied with Fortran language. The results demonstrate that disproportionation products are most likely to be derived from the initial ZrCoHy. The presence of ZrH2 and ZrCo2 promotes the nucleation incubation of disproportionation products. Besides, ZrCoHy is more prone to generate ZrH2 and ZrCo2 in comparison with ZrCoHx, which is attributed to the fact that the crystal structure of ZrCoHy is closer to that of ZrCo2. Since ZrCoHy could be regarded as the transition state when ZrCoHx is transformed into ZrCo2, ZrCoHy is easy to be produced in advance during the ZrCoHx disproportionation process, instead of ZrH2 and ZrCo2 directly generated by the ZrCoHx disproportionation.

Abstract:To ensure the safety and efficiency of hydrogen isotopes in the storage and delivery system (SDS), Zr-Mn-V based hydrogen isotopes storage alloys were prepared by induction levitation melting technique under Ar atmosphere. The effects of modification for Zr-Mn-V alloy of ZrMn2-xVx (x = 0, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8) and ZrMn1.4-yV0.6 (y = 0, 0.2, 0.4) on microstructure, hydriding kinetics, de-/hydrogenation thermodynamics, cycling stability and anti-disproportionation performance were systematically investigated. The results show that all alloys contain a main phase of ZrMn2 and little impure phase. Crucially, the lattice parameters of ZrMn2 phase increase after V substitution, as well as Mn decrease, leading the equilibrium pressure of dehydrogenation significantly decreases from 2.931 bar (ZrMn2-H) to 0.080 bar (ZrMn1.2V0.6-H) at 200 °C, and the corresponding enthalpy changes from 43.29 to 60.38 kJ mol−1 H2. Compared with ZrCo, ZrMn1.2V0.6 exhibits outstanding stability with 1.63 wt% during 20 cycles and scarcely losing on capacity through the anti-disproportionation measurement under the simulated SDS environment. Consequently, considering all the performances of ZrMn1.2V0.6 sample, it could be an alternative material for hydrogen isotopes storage and delivery to be applied in SDS.

Abstract:For the disproportionation mechanism of ZrCo alloy, the unstable occupation of H atoms to 8e sites was considered to be the driving force of hydrogen-induced disproportionation reaction in ZrCo alloys. Titanium metal (Ti) is employed as one of the candidates for improving ZrCo alloys by element substitution. In this paper, the anti-disproportionation mechanism of Ti-doped ZrCo alloys with a large-scale proportional element doping, has been studied in detail by combining experimental results and calculations. The thermodynamic properties and anti-disproportionation properties of Zr1-xTixCo (X = 0–0.5) alloys were investigated by sievert methods. Taking in view the known Case 1 which states that H(4c2) atoms diffuse into the 8e sites and Case 2 based on a new assumption involving the extra occupation of H(8e) atoms, the occupying effect of H(8e) atoms of different Zr1-xTixCoH3 (X = 0–0.5) and the property of 4c2 sites as the source of H(8e) atoms were analyzed by Density functional theory. The results indicated that the occupancy of H(8e) atoms and the bond length of Zr-H(8e) are decisive factors affecting the anti-disproportionation performance of ZrCo alloys, and the influence of Ti substitution on the H(8e) occupancy mainly originates from the (8e-4c2) barrier.

Abstract:The disproportionation reaction of ZrCo will occur at high temperature resulting in a substantial reduction of hydrogen absorption, and the driving force of which was widely accepted as the non-equivalent occupation of hydrogen atom within ZrCo hydride. However, the H atoms occupation within ZrCo alloys is still ambiguous to date. Herein, hydrogen atom occupation behaviors in ZrCo hydride were studied by thermal analysis and X-ray diffraction combined with first-principle calculation during absorption and desorption. The results shown that hydrogen atoms in ZrCo alloys were preferentially occupied 8f1 site instead of 4c2 site in the situation of x ≤ 1.4, while for the case of 1.4 ≤ x ≤ 2.0 hydrogen atoms began to occupy 4c2 site , and the order of occupation at this stage is roughly 4c2 , 8f1 and 4c2 . As for the case of 2.0 ≤ x ≤ 2.5, the crystal structure expanded with the increase of x value and hydrogen atoms occupied 8f1 , 4c2 and 8e site at the same time. In the process of hydrogen desorption, hydrogen atom at 8e site was firstly released, then the 4c2 site and finally 8f1 site . We believe the work can provide some experimental basis for further research on the relationship between hydrogen occupation and hydrogen-induced disproportionation of ZrCo.

Abstract:The synergistic effect of metallic Ti and Zr as co-dopants on the reversible hydrogen storage properties of NaAlH4 was investigated systematically. Metallic Ti and Zr powders were used directly and separately as dopants, as well as used as co-dopants together in the preparation of NaAlH4 by hydrogenation of ball-milled mixtures of NaH/Al. The hydriding/dehydriding properties of the composites were then investigated. It was found that the addition of Ti and Zr powders together as co-dopants on hydriding/dehydriding properties is superior to doping with Ti or Zr alone. The highest reversible hydrogen capacity of the hydride doped with Ti and Zr together as co-dopants is 4.34wt% at 160∘C. The hydriding rate increases with the hydriding pressure increasing from 7.5 to 11.5MPa. The dehydriding kinetics is improved with the dehydriding temperature increasing from 90 to 130∘C, and the dehydriding rate of the composite doped with Ti and Zr as co-dopants is 1.6 and 2.0 times that of the sample doped with Ti and Zr alone at 130∘C. Microstructure analysis reveals that the improvement of the hydriding/dehydriding properties of NaH/Al (NaAlH4) can be partially ascribed to the in situ interaction of active titanium-hydride and zirconium-hydrides formed in the ball-milling process and subsequently acted as the catalytic active sites on the surface of hydride matrix. The effect of lattice expansion on enthalpy change indicates that the further improved dehydriding property of the composite can also be attributed to a favorable thermodynamic modification of the bulk composite hydride co-doped with Ti–Zr powders. In a word, the synergistic effect on the improvement of hydriding/dehydriding properties by introducing the addition of Ti–Zr together as co-dopants can be ascribed to both the “superficial catalytic process” and the “favorable thermodynamic modification” of the composite.
Hydrogen diffusion and anti-disproportionation properties in ZrCo alloys: The effect of Sc, V, and Ni dopants

Abstract:The use of ZrCo alloys as hydrogen isotope storage materials is limited by the significant reduction of storage capacity caused by disproportionation reaction. In this study, the effects of Sc/V/Ni substitution on the hydrogen diffusion and anti-disproportionation properties of ZrCo alloys and their hydrides were systematically investigated by theoretical calculations. The doping of V reduces the migration barrier of absorbed H at different octahedral sites, leading to improved hydrogen permeability and fast kinetics. For ZrCoH 3 hydrides, V/Ni dopant increases the formation energy of H in 8e site, while Sc has opposite effect. Additionally, the migration barrier for H away from 8e site to its nearby 4c 2 site is obviously lowered by V, but is increased by Sc/Ni. These results indicate that V substitution can effectively improve hydride anti-disproportionation capability, which deepens the understanding of experimental phenomena, and sheds valuable light on the design of ZrCo alloys with high performance.

Abstract:ZrCo alloy has been considered as a tritium storage material to replace uranium for large-scale hydrogen isotope storage and delivery in tritium plant of the magnetic confinement nuclear fusion reactor. However, the disproportionation of ZrCo greatly obstructed its aspects to engineering application . A multifaceted understanding about the intrinsic nature of disproportionation reaction, and proposing anti-disproportionation strategies from material design have always been the bottleneck and hotspot in the tritium science and technology field. Herein, we studied the anti-disproportionation properties of Zr(Ti)Co alloy with thin film structure , and the effects of film thickness and Ti substitutions on the anti-disproportionation properties of the films were obtained. Firstly, a series of ZrCo films with different deposited time were prepared by magnetron sputtering instrument. The disproportionation ratio of the 2 h deposited ZrCo film (1.641μm) is 23.9%, and attenuated with the increase of film thickness. It indicates that the anti-disproportionation properties of the film structure is significantly better than that of ZrCo particle (68%). The microtopography analysis shows that the micro stress in the film structure is beneficial to hinder the disproportionation process. However, the hydrogenation reaction is also obviously inhibited in the ZrCo film. In addition, Ti doping can further improve its anti-disproportionation performance (10.3–7.3% for the 2 h deposited Zr 1-x Ti x Co film) without significantly reducing the hydrogen absorption capacities of the ZrCo flims. The anti-disproportionation performance is closely related to the weakened interaction between Zr and H atoms, after Ti doping into the ZrCo flim, leading to the impaired driving force for disproportionation reaction. The study in this work can provide an important reference for the anti-disproportionation modification of ZrCo alloys.

Abstract:ZrCo alloy is considered a promising hydrogen isotope storage material used in nuclear fusion reactors, but its large-scale promotion is inhibited by its poor cycling stability induced by disproportionation. To enhance the cycling stability of ZrCo-H systems, tuning lattice by Pd substitution for Co is performed in this work. The prepared ZrCo0.6Pd0.4 alloy mainly consists of the CrB-type orthorhombic phase (B33), sharing an identical lattice structure with its hydrided phase (ZrCoH3); thus, stable homogeneous structural dehydrogenation/hydrogenation reaction is constructed for the first time with remarkably low lattice fluctuation and dehydrogenation activation energy, in favor of restraining disproportionation. Hence, a highest capacity of 1.45 wt% and optimum capacity retention of 96.67% after 50 dehydriding/hydriding cycles is achieved in ZrCo-H systems. Our work proposes the great potential of tuning lattice for improving the cycling performance in hydrogen isotope storage materials. (C) 2021 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Abstract:The thermal reactions of [Zn(OH)](+) with C3H8 have been studied by means of gas-phase experiments and computational investigation. Two types of C-H bond activation are observed in the experiment, and pertinent mechanistic features include inter alia: (i) the metal center of [Zn(OH)](+) serves as active site in the hydride transfer to generate [i-C3H7](+) as major product, (ii) generally, a high regioselectivity is accompanied by remarkable chemoselectivity: for example, the activation of a methyl C-H bond results mainly in the formation of water and [Zn(C-3, H-7)](+). According to computational work, this ionic product corresponds to [HZn(CH3CH-CH2)](+). Attack of the zinc center at a secondary C-H bond leads preferentially to hydride transfer, thus giving rise to the generation of [i-C3H7](+); (iii) upon oxidative dehydrogenation (ODH), liberation of CH3CH2=CH2 occurs to produce [HZn(H2O)](+). Both, ODH as well as H2O loss proceed through the same intermediate which is characterized by the fact that a methylene hydrogen atom from the substrate is transferred to the zinc and one hydrogen atom from the methyl group to the OH group of [Zn(OH)](+). The combined experimental/computational gas-phase study of C-H bond activation by zinc hydroxide provides mechanistic insight into related zinc-catalyzed large-scale processes and identifies the crucial role that the Lewis-acid character of zinc plays.
Dehydriding Properties of Ti Or/and Zr-doped Sodium Aluminum Hydride Prepared by Ball-Milling

Abstract:The NaAlH4 complex is attracting great attention for its potential applications in hydrogen-powered fuel-cell vehicles due to its high hydrogen storage capacity and suitable thermodynamic properties. However, its practicable hydrogen storage capacity presently obtained is less than the theoretical capacity (5.6 wt.%). To improve the hydrogen capacity, we chose metallic Ti or) and Zr powder as catalyst dopants, and prepared the sodium aluminum hydride by hydrogenation of ball-milled NaH/Al mixture containing 10 mol% dopants with different proportions of Ti and Zr, and then investigated the effects on their hydrogen storage (dehydriding) properties. The results showed that different catalyst dopants affected the dehydriding properties greatly. The catalysis of metal Ti as a catalyst dopant alone on dehydriding kinetics for the entire dehydrogenation process of ball-milled (NaH/Al) composite was higher than that of adopting Zr alone. The synergistic catalytic effect of Ti and Zr together as co-dopants on the dehydrogenation process of (NaH/Al) composite was higher than that using only Ti or Zr as dopant individually. The composite doped with proper proportion of Ti and Zr together (8 mol% Ti+2 mol% Zr) as co-dopants exhibited the highest dehydriding kinetic property and desorption capacity.

Abstract:Effects of pressure of toluene, reaction temperature and nature of catalysts on coking over catalysts in toluene disproportionation are studied by using the method of thermogravimetry. Experiment results show that during the toluene disproportionation, the coking amount over catalysts increases with partial pressure of toluene and reaction temperature and the initial coking temperature decreases with partial pressure of toluene. Coking results mainly from the relatively stronger acid sites on the surface of the catalyst. Both HZSM-5 and HM catalysts have efficiency for toluene disproportionation, but HZM-5 catalyst has higher catalytic activity and stability.

Abstract:Cd-doped ZrO2 catalyst has been found to have high selectivity and activity for CO2 hydrogenation to methanol. In this work, density functional theory calculations were carried out to investigate the microscopic mechanism of the reaction. The results show that Cd doping effectively promotes the generation of oxygen vacancies, which significantly activate the CO2 with stable adsorption configurations. Compared with CO2, gaseous H2 adsorption is more difficult, and it is mainly dissociated and adsorbed on the surface as [HCd–HO]* or [HZr–HO]* compact ion pairs, with [HCd–HO]* having the lower energy barrier. The reaction pathways of CO2 to methanol has been investigated, revealing the formate path as the dominated pathway via HCOO* to H2COO* and to H3CO*. The hydrogen anions, HCd* and HZr*, significantly reduce the energy barriers of the reaction.

Abstract:This study focuses on the mechanism that governs the CO2-induced oxidation of Zn powder in a dropping state via a one-dimensional drop -tube furnace system. Parameters including temperature, CO2 concentration, residence time, and particle size were considered. Results showed that the oxidation of Zn powder with CO2 can be divided into three periods according to reaction temperature. Based on the oxidation of spherical Zn particles in the dropping state at a representative temperature for each period, the reaction mechanism was characterized by a shell core model with three temperature regimes. Meanwhile, equations for the reaction rates were formulated using nonlinear regression analysis. This model is consistent with scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy results. In addition, the theory of anion coordination polyhedron growth units for crystals was applied to explain the nucleation, growth, and final morphology of ZnO crystals.

Abstract:Effects of the conventional hydrogenation disproportionation desorption recombination (HDDR) process and the additions of Co and Zr on anisotropy of HDDR PrFeB-type magnetic materials are investigated. The results show that the degree of anisotropy in conventional HDDR Pr13Fe80B7 materials decreases monotonically with the prolonged disproportionation time, and short disproportionation time is helpful for preparing highly anisotropic Pr13Fe80B7 material. However, it is notable that the degree of anisotropy in conventional HDDR Pr13Fe80B7 materials is significantly smaller than that in solid-HDDR Pr13Fe80B7 materials with the same disproportionation time. At the same time, it is found that the addition of Co and Zr may make HDDR Pr–Fe–B materials that have higher anisotropy compared with HDDR pure ternary Pr13Fe80B7 materials under the same HDDR process, but their degree of anisotropy will also decrease monotonically with the prolonged disproportionation time, and will be close to zero when the disproportionation time is greater than 20 h. Based on this, the origin of anisotropy is discussed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) investigations for the disproportionated products of the above alloys. The results show that the origin of anisotropy in HDDR Pr–Fe–B materials with the addition of Co or Zr may differ from that in HDDR pure Pr13Fe80B7 materials, and the former maybe from the residual “Pr2(Fe,Co,Zr)14B” nucleus while the latter is not. Finally, it is also found that HDDR Pr–Fe–B materials with Co or Zr can obtain high-magnetic properties even if the high-desorption temperature is used, and this shows the addition of Co and Zr may make HDDR Pr–Fe–B materials that have a larger process temperature range.

Abstract:ZrCo and its alloys have attracted extensive attention as promising hydrogen isotope storage materials for nuclear fusion reactors. However, ZrCo can be readily poisoned by carbonaceous impurity gases like CO2 and CO introduced by input hydrogen isotopes or produced during the fusion reactor operation procedure. In this work, with density functional theory calculations and microkinetic modeling, the poisoning effects of CO2 and CO are identified by predominantly occupying active sites on the metal surface when reaching equilibrium. Surface reaction events related to CO2 are mostly molecular adsorption–desorption steps due to its strong binding strength. Dissociation of CO occurs readily even at room temperature, and the resident time length for the coverage of hydrogen being higher than other species is longer than CO2, indicating that the ZrCo alloy is more resistant to CO-poisoning compared to CO2. Interaction between CH4 and ZrCo is not active with the coexistence of hydrogen, making this impurity inert in deteriorating hydrogen storage performance. Hydrogen isotope effects are characterized by comparing reactions among H2 + CO2(CO), D2 + CO2(CO), and T2 + CO2(CO) mixing gases, with hydrogen resident time lengths decreasing from H2 to T2.
