Abstract:In this paper, we consider a class of neutral stochastic differential systems with variable delays and give sufficient conditions to ensure that the zero solution is asymptotically stable in the mean square by means of a generalisation of Banach's contraction principle. These conditions do not require the boundedness of delays, nor do they ask for a fixed sign on the coefficient functions. The results are shown to improve the previous globally stable results derived in the literature.

Abstract:Assuming that A(z)=B1(z)eP(z)+B2(z)eρp(z)+Q(z) , where B1(z),B2(z),p(z) are nonzero polynomials, ρ∈(0,1) , and Q(z) is an entire function of order less than deg⁡p , we study the oscillation of solutions of the linear differential equation f(k)+A(z)f=0 . Some conditions on A(z) are given to guarantee that any non-trivial solution f satisfies λ(f)=∞ or λ(f)≥σ(A) , where σ(f) and λ(f) denote respectively the order of f and the exponent of convergence of zeros of f . We also find some types of linear differential equations with zero-free solutions.

Abstract:In this article, we study the existence and uniqueness of periodic solutions, and stability of the zero solution to the nonlinear neutral system $$ \frac{d}{dt}x(t)=A(t)h\big(x(t-\tau_1(t))\big)+\frac{d}{dt}Q\big(t,x(t-\tau_2(t))\big) +G\big(t,x(t),x(t-\tau_2(t))\big). $$ We use integrating factors to transform the neutral differential equation into an equivalent integral equation. Then we construct appropriate mappings and employ Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem to show the existence of a periodic solution. We also use the contraction mapping principle to show the existence of a unique periodic solution and the asymptotic stability of the zero solution. Our results generalize the corresponding results in the existing literature. Abstract:Abstract In this paper, we describe a method to solve the problem of finding periodic solutions for second-order neutral delay-differential equations with piecewise constant arguments of the form x ′′( t ) + px ′′( t − 1) = qx ([ t ]) + f ( t ), where [⋅] denotes the greatest integer function, p and q are nonzero real or complex constants, and f ( t ) is complex valued periodic function. The method reduces the problem to a system of algebraic equations. We give explicit formula for the solutions of the equation. We also give counter examples to some previous findings concerning uniqueness of solution.

By utilizing the perturbation method of a positive operator and the fixed point index theory in cones, some sufficient conditions are established for the existence as well as the non-existence of positive ω -periodic solutions.

Abstract:The main purpose of this paper is to prove a sharp estimate of the order ρ ( w ) \rho (w) of a transcendental solution w in the complex plane of an n th-order linear differential equation with polynomial coefficients in terms of the distribution of its Stokes rays, under the assumption that zero is not a Nevanlinna deficient value of w. If, in addition, there are only two Stokes rays and if all the solutions of the equation have order at most ρ ( w ) \rho (w) , then we can conclude that the coefficients of the equation are all constants.

The main tool employed here is the Krasnoselskii’s fixed point theorem dealing with a sum of two mappings, one is a contraction and the other is completely continuous. The results obtained here generalize the work of Han and Ren (Nonlinear Anal, 70:1393–1406, 2009).

Abstract:In this paper, we study the higher-order uncertain differential equations (UDEs) as defined by Kaixi Zhang (<a class="link-external link-https" href="https://doi.org/10.1007/s10700-024-09422-0" rel="external noopener nofollow">this https URL</a>), mainly focus on the second-order case. We propose a pivotal condition (monotonicity in some sense, see more details in Section 3), introduce the concept of $\alpha$-paths of UDEs, and demonstrate its properties. Based on this, we derive the inverse uncertainty distribution of the solution.

Abstract:This paper investigates the analytical stability region and the asymptotic stability of linear fractional neutral delay differential equations. Employing boundary locus techniques, the stability region of this problem is analyzed. Furthermore, we derive the fundamental solution of linear fractional neutral delay differential equations, and prove the exponential boundedness, the asymptotic stability and the algebraic decay rate. Finally, numerical tests are conducted to verify the theoretical results.

Abstract:A class of elliptic equationdivG(x)u(x)=0.With measurable coefficients of divergence type is concerned. It is proven that the gradients of very weak solutions of such equation satisfies the weakly reverse Hlder's inequality by using the technique of Hodge decomposition,and then it is proven that almost every zero of very weak solution has infinite order provided that the integrable exponent is sufficiently close to 2.

Abstract:The present work mainly probes into the existence and uniqueness of periodic solutions for a class of second-order neutral differential equations with multiple delays. Our approach is based on using Banach and Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorems as well as the Green's function method.
