Abstract:The species of the genus Nepalomyia Hollis, 1964 from China are reviewed and keyed. The following two species are described as new to science: Nepalomyia beijingensis sp. n. and N. ruiliensis sp. n. The distribution of the genus in China is discussed.

Abstract:The following six new species of the genus Nepalomyia are described and illustrated: Nepalomyia fogangensis sp. nov., N. guangdongensis sp. nov., N. hastata sp. nov., N. jinshanensis sp. nov., N. xui sp. nov., and N. zhangae sp. nov. N. xui sp. nov. belongs to the trifurcata group, N. guangdongensis sp. nov., N. hastata sp. nov. N. jinshanensis sp. nov., and N. zhangae sp. nov. belong to the henanensis group; but the remaining species cannot be placed into any known species group. Keys for Chinese species of trifurcata group and henanensis group are presented.

Abstract:An overview is presented for the species of the genus Nepalomyia Hollis, 1964 trom Taiwan. Nepalonyia xtaoyanae sp. nov. is described and N. brevifurcata (Yang & Saigusa, 2001) and N. orientalis (Yang & Li, 1998) are recorded from Taiwan for the first time. A key is provided for all seven named species of this genus from Taiwan.

Abstract:Abstract Previously only one species of the genus Chrysosoma Guérin-Méneville was described from Tibet. Here four Chrysosoma species are added to the fauna of Tibet. The following three new species are described: Chrysosoma furcatum sp. nov., Chrysosoma nyingchiense sp. nov. and Chrysosoma spinosum sp. nov. Both a key to the species of the genus Chrysosoma from Tibet and a key to the species of the genus from China are presented respectively.

Abstract:Nepalomyia baliensis, sp. nov. from Indonesia is described as new to science which represents the southernmost distribution range of the genus in Asia. Diagnostic features are discussed. Due to the recent synonymy of Neurigonella with Nepalomyia, the following new combinations are proposed: Nepalomyia nepalensis (Yang, Saigusa and Manusuga, 2003) comb. nov. and Nepalomyia nigra (Yang, Saigusa and Manusuga, 2003) comb. nov.

Abstract:The genus Nepalomyia is the largest genus in the subfamily Peloropeodinae, with 47 described species. In the present paper the Nepalomyia pallipilosa species group is established for the following three described species and seven new species: Nepalomyia biseta sp. n., N. emeiensis sp. n., N. guangxiensis Zhang et Yang, N. liui sp. n., N. pallipilosa (Yang et Saigusa), N. ruiliensis Wang et Yang, N. sichuanensis sp. n., N. ventralis sp. n., N. yangi sp. n. and N. zengchengensis sp. n. Information on their distribution is also given or updated.
