Abstract:Key Teaching Points•Tachycardia with alternating cycle length usually has different reentrant circuits. It should be mapped under different cycle lengths, respectively.•Entrainments remain important to confirm the reentrant mechanism even with alternating cycle length.•High-resolution mapping is useful to identify the critical isthmus and facilitate the ablation successfully with limited radiofrequency lesion. •Tachycardia with alternating cycle length usually has different reentrant circuits.
