In the paper, we introduce a method based on deep residual networks to suppress seismic random noises. Different from the existing algorithms which usually depend on signal models and prior information, we treat random noises attenuation of seismic data as a learning goal and take the difference between the contaminated signal and its corresponding denoised label signal as input, aiming at the residual error closing to zero after learning a huge number of samples. Finally, our network learns a denoising model. Our experiments demonstrate that the proposed deep residual model exhibits high effectiveness in suppressing seismic random noises, meanwhile, the useful signal can be well preserved.
