Abstract:As an important physiological phenomenon in marine copepoda, diapause is a significant factor to influence the fluctution of population. The paper concerned the investigation and development in this field, including the forms of diapause, the significance of diapause, the hatch and development of diapause eggs, and the environmental faltors inducing diapause.The prospect in research was also put forward in this paper.
