Abstract:•Blockade of BAFF upregulates the percentage of IL-10+ Bregs in lupus-prone and EAE mice.•BAFF selects IL-10− over IL-10+ B cells for expansion during inflammatory responses.•Selection of IL-10− over IL-10+ B cells by BAFF were dependent on BAFF receptors.
