Investigation of the Nurses' Knowledge Levels about "the Regulations on the Medical Accident Treatment"

Abstract:Objective: The purpose of the study was to identify the nurses’ knowledge levels about “The Regulations on the Medical Accident Treatment” and explore the methods to enrich their knowledge. Method: The questionnaire was designed by the researchers and the convenient sample size of 100 nurses was selected to complete the questionnaire. Results: ①Seventy-six percent of the nurses were at the low level of knowledge; ②There was no significant different among the different position nurses( P 0.05);③ There was no significant different among the nurses with the different working years( P 0.05);④Most of the nurses had little knowledge about record management, site-stuff conservation, definition of the medical accident and so on. Conclusion: The nurses need further study“The Regulations on the Medical Accident Treatment”.Suggestions: ①The nursing managers should pay attention to the nurses’ study about this regulation; ②The nurses should enhance the awareness; ③The multi-approach study should be used to improve the nurses’ knowledge about the regulation, and strength the nurses awareness of the law.
