Abstract:In this paper, a review of supply chain optimization models is presented. Firstly, the concept of a supply chain is introduced, and relevant issues are discussed. Then the supply chain optimization models, including queueing theoretic models, game theoretic models, network flow models, and option valuation models, are studied. In particular, some typical mixed integer programming (MIP) models are analyzed. A framework of the supply chain optimization model is presented, too. And the relevant factors of the supply chain are discussed. Finally, the future studies in this area, e.g., supply chain re-engineering and optimizing, are explored.

Abstract:In this paper, the synchronous supply chain management information system for mass customization in e-commerce is studied. The principle of chain management and the mechanism of mass customization in e-commerce are discussed. It is pointed out that chain management aims at chain value. Secondly, the paper explains the mechanism of chain management, and points out that chain management improves the value of chain by establishing modular operation units, identifying and managing bottlenecks, identifying and eliminating waste under the action of collaborative planning and control. This paper discusses chain management from the strategic point of view, and draws a conclusion that the mass customization operation management system based on chain management has the characteristics of sustainable competitive advantage. Finally, the process description system of implementing chain management is given, and the dynamic collaborative scheduling optimization of MC e-commerce in supply chain environment is also given. The practical case analysis shows that the method designed in this paper has a good practical effect.

Abstract:The on-demand supply mode of cloud manufacturing is significant in enlivening the manufacturing resources over a wide range. However, problems in coupling and contradiction exist among individuation, cost and response time in the on-demand supply of manufacturing cloud service, thus decreasing the efficiency and effectiveness of cloud manufacturing. To decouple this contradiction problem and help users rapidly obtain individuation services at low cost, this paper proposes a two-dimensional (time and space dimensions) optimization mechanism and method for manufacturing cloud service. In the mechanism layer, the user demand decoupling point principle, which is formulated using the customer order decoupling point in traditional physical products, is proposed for describing the optimization direction; and the on-demand supply mode of manufacturing cloud service is divided into four sub-modes, i.e., provide-to-demand, compose-to-demand, engineer -to-demand and research-to-demand; then, a two-dimensional optimization model is established for describing the optimization mechanism among individuation, cost and response time. In the method layer, the decision-making process model for positioning and optimizing UDDP is studied to support the time dimension optimization of moving UDDP backward; and a recursive mapping model of the service topological structure is proposed for supporting the space dimension optimization of the service topological structure. Finally, the proposed model and method are applied to a cloud manufacturing service platform for the mold industry. Two case studies are presented for demonstrating the feasibility and effectiveness of this two-dimensional optimization approach.

Abstract:The optimal design of agent capability requirement and the distribution of coordination and decision center (CDC) in CDC-based supply chain management are discussed. The problem of agent capability requirement design is explored from two different aspects: process efficiency and task performance. A PERT network diagram model and a nonlinear programming model are established.The Modified Feasible Method(MFM) is adopted to reduce computational complexity of the nonlinear programming model. On the CDC design, the index of coordination is proposed, the optimal model is built, and a modified hierarchical clustering algorithm is proposed to address the imperfection of classification and the complexity of computation. Its superiority of performance over hierarchical clustering algorithm is illustrated by a stochastic simulation experiment.

Abstract:Optimal supply chain design is vital to the success of industrial concerns now more than ever before. This paper reviews some principal research opportunities and challenges in the field of supply chain design. The growing area of enterprise-wide optimization and the increasing importance of energy and sustainability issues provide plentiful opportunities for supply chain design research. However, modeling, algorithmic, and computational challenges arise from these research opportunities. There are three major technical challenge areas where knowledge gaps can be addressed in supply chain design, namely multi-scale challenges, multi-objective and sustainability challenges, and multi-player challenges. This paper provides an overview of opportunity areas, a description of relevant technical challenges, and a perspective on how these challenges might be addressed in supply chain design. Illustrative examples are presented to illuminate avenues for future research.

Abstract:In today's era of globalization and digitization, supply chain management is critical to the success of globalized companies. Amazon, one of the world's largest e-commerce platforms, has a particularly complex and important supply chain management. Despite many studies on supply chain management, there is still a lack of research on how Amazon uses operations research and data analytics to optimize its supply chain. The purpose of this paper is to explore how Amazon can improve the efficiency of its supply chain through operations research and data analytics techniques (e.g., linear programming, inventory control, and transportation modeling) to cope with increasing market demand. Through literature analysis and case studies, this paper examines in detail the optimization practices and technology applications of Amazon's supply chain management. The study uses data collected from Amazon as well as relevant academic articles and industry reports. The results of the study show that Amazon effectively uses advanced operations research models, such as linear programming, inventory control, and transportation models, to optimize various aspects of its supply chain. These models help reduce costs, manage inventory levels, and improve delivery efficiency. The analysis shows significant improvements in supply chain performance metrics, confirming Amazon's strategic use of data-driven decision-making.

Abstract:Abstract This thesis combines the ABC classification method and hierarchical analysis method to propose the evaluation method of logistics spatial layout and applies it to actual automobile manufacturing enterprises. The spatial layout scheme of logistics nodes in the park has been adjusted and optimized to achieve dynamic inventory classification and improve inventory management. When the demand of the decision-making body decreases, the optimal production and transportation scheduling plan for the automobile industry supply chain is formulated using the dynamic scheduling decision-making model. The results show that the spatial layout optimization scheme of supply chain logistics nodes in the automobile industrial park is RDC-B3, VDC-B5, and PDC-B1. The total cost of supply chain logistics after optimization is reduced by 3.8 × 10 8 yuan. The inventory items in the storage center are divided into 3 categories: A category for inventory items numbered 1-6, B category for 7-9, and C category for 10-11, to improve the turnover rate of the whole inventory and reduce the impact of inventory risk. When the demand side of the supply chain is reduced, the total cost of scheduling the optimal solution is 138.01 million. The research results of this paper have some reference significance.

Abstract:Abstract With the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce, the improvement of consumer satisfaction has become the focus of cross-border e-commerce platform optimization. Relying on advanced algorithm technology, it can realize the accurate and efficient matching between massive information and users, which is conducive to improving the user experience. Based on the consideration of consumer satisfaction, this paper constructs a dual channel supply chain composed of cross-border suppliers, cross-border e-commerce enterprises, retailers and consumers and studies the revenue and cost sharing contract of the supply chain under the conditions of centralized decision and decentralized decision. The research shows that cross-border e-commerce enterprises can choose to form revenue and expenditure sharing contracts through online and offline channels, optimize decentralized decision-making, and achieve win–win cooperation among supply chain entities.

Abstract:With the increasing use and availability of computing power and raised consumer power comes the need in competitive markets to produce and offer products and services that provide as precisely as possible the exact features of offerings that match customer requirements, with as little waste as possible. Further, customers have different thresholds of willingness to pay for sets of features. The purpose of this paper is to conceptualize and model the merging of supply chain strategies with the marketing decisions, which is key to the overall optimization of aspects of a firm's strategy, including design of its products and their features, pricing, and positioning. The method used was to create the comprehensive modeling approach that represents these challenges not based on products, but based on individual features of those products, atomistically. The theoretical contribution made is the integration of supply chain optimization approaches, that are essentially based on the resource based view of the firm and focus on cost, with the marketing orientation approach to product design, pricing and marketing strategies. Further, this theoretical contribution recognises in its models that mass customization provides for individualization of features offered to each customer, at prices that reflect their assessed willingness to pay. There are many practical implications: many firms are moving towards full customization of feature sets, and increasingly pricing in a customized manner, and this trend will continue in practice as big data applications in markets go further and become more cost efficient. The integration of the marketing view and the resource-based operations view allows for a fully integrated view of competitive strategy and the design of products and services, so that firms can profit optimize their offerings.

Abstract:Since the onset of Supply chain management has gained maximum recognition, with many countries elevating supply chain levels at the strategic level. This article selects AH Company's supply chain network as the research object, analyzes the main challenges faced by the company in the supply chain aspect, and evaluates its original supply chain network. It incorporates sustainable development factors into the current global supply chain management theme, taking into account four aspects: total supply chain cost, service level, corporate sustainable development vision (carbon emissions), and supply chain risks. The "Supply Chain Guru X (2022)" software is applied to propose optimization solutions for existing problems on the basis of the original supply chain network. Based on the existing data, a comprehensive comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of various optimization schemes is implemented to select the current optimal supply chain network optimization scheme. In the process of optimizing the plan, the multi-objective optimization theory and big data processing technology were emphasized, and the corresponding technical theories were integrated into the "Supply Chain Guru X (2022)" software. By optimizing the supply chain network of AH Company, the overall operating costs of the company's supply chain network have been significantly reduced while meeting customer needs. Concurrently, it can provide a good example for optimizing the supply chain network of similar enterprises.

Coordinating a platform supply chain with reference promotion effect and Big Data marketing

Abstract:In the context of platform economy, the reference promotion effect of consumers is becoming a factor that cannot be ignored, while there are few published articles which study the influences of the reference promotion effect of consumers on the promotion decisions of supply chain. Moreover, the Big Data marketing is one of the latest means attracting consumers for the platform supply chain. Accordingly, in this paper, the differential game model is constructed to study the coordination problem of the platform supply chain by introducing the impacts of Big Data marketing and reference promotion effect on consumer conversion rate.} Firstly, the optimal promotional strategies of the manufacturer, the optimal Big Data marketing strategies of the e-commerce platform and the profits under centralized and decentralized modes are given by applying the optimal control theory, and the comparative analyses are carried out. Subsequently, in order to coordinate the platform supply chain, a combined contract including a two-part tariff scheme and a promotion cost sharing scheme is designed. Finally, the effects of key system parameters on supply chain equilibrium strategies and coordination contract are analyzed by numerical examples. The results show that the respective decisions of the manufacturer and the e-commerce platform as well as the profits of the supply chain are higher under centralized mode. Moreover, within the feasible region, the combined contract not only achieves channel coordination but also improves the economic situations of both channel members. \textcolor{blue}{It can be also observed that the coordination capacity of the proposed combined contract reduces with an increase in the memory parameter and improves with an increase in parameters such as the effectiveness of the Big Data marketing and the effectiveness of the reference promotion effect. The obtained conclusions can provide effective guidance for enterprises to make practical decisions and stabilize the cooperative relationship between the two parties.

Abstract:On the premise of discrete simulation technology, the study developed a simulation approach to quantify firms’ business operations and performances in a multi-tier supply chain. By careful simulation scenario design and statistical validation, the simulation model was applied to understand one practical business problem, i.e., how to evaluate the business model and its trade-off of implementing demand information sharing strategy. The results showed that with high demand variance, low demand correlation, and/or high demand covariance, the supply chain without the intermediate tier performed better than that with the intermediary. However, bypassing the intermediate tier in the chain might cause companies less responsive to demand variability. The simulation and analytical approaches presented in the paper can help firms make better decision on business model design and inter-organizational collaboration in supply chains.

Abstract:The demand market for logistics in China has been increasing year by year with the development of social economy, and the requirements that should be met in the new era background are getting higher and higher. Previously, there were obvious repetitive path problems in the transportation route of logistics vehicles, which seriously affected the transportation efficiency and increased the transportation cost of logistics vehicles. To this end, this paper starts from the perspective of customer fuzzy demand, and applies dynamic programming algorithm and quadratic exponential smoothing method to analyze the logistics vehicle transportation path optimization method in detail, which is expected to promote scanning algorithm and distribution forecast. Further improvement. This paper takes the logistics vehicle transportation of a winery as a reference case, specifically shows the specific application of the above-mentioned algorithm, and shows the result of the final reduction of the delivery mileage.

Abstract:As environmental issues become the focus of global attention, low-carbon economy based on the concept of low energy consumption, low pollution, and sustainable development is becoming the focus of global attention. This new trend brings new challenges and opportunities to supply chain management. In view of the current new trend, each node enterprise in the supply chain should have the dual compatibility of economy and environment. How to balance the profits of supply chain nodes is an important issue for traditional enterprises under the guarantee of environmental benefits and green supply chain management. This paper takes the green transformation of enterprises as the breakthrough point, combined with the comparison of three green supply chain models. Considering the different preferences of enterprises for environmentally friendly goals, a green supply chain model is constructed when manufacturers and retailers consider different goals. This paper discusses the impact of environmental preferences of manufacturers and retailers on the supply chain system. It is found that when the manufacturer's environmental preference is 1, the supply chain profit of the biobjective model is up to 1901. The results show that the model can achieve the dual optimization of the profit target and environmental friendly target and achieve the effect of green supply chain optimization.
