Abstract:OBJECTIVE To study the development of hospital infection administration after SARS′ period. METHODS The impact on the hospital infection administration caused by SARS was analyzed. RESULTS Facing to the impact caused by the SARS, the well-established surveillance system in the hospital infection administration, the concept of infection disease and the emergency preparedness and response mechanism of public health event, as well as the transfer of the infection messages were lacked. CONCLUSIONS The surveillance and alarm mechanism of the hospital infection for the medical personnel should be established following the hospital infection development after SARS′ period; and emergency preparedness and response mechanism of public health event should also be established, the research on medical protective technology should be strengthened,for these reasons, the related industry would be pushed forward; the stage of professional message about hospital infection administration should be established ; focus must be concentrated on the hygienic administration of the hospital environment and the hospital construction.
