Abstract:To reduce the computational amount and memory size of the HDTV(for DVB) audio decoder, the algorithm of sub-band synthesis filter has been optimized in this paper. Based on C-language simulation of the optimized decoder, fixed-point code has been converted from the floating-point code. This decoder can be realized in real-time on a fixed-point DSP, and it has a wide range of applications in HDTV source decoding and etc.

Abstract:Aiming at real-time speech signal processing and application, an implementation scheme based on DSP chip and algorithm is presented. The G.729A encoding and decoding algorithm principles are analyzed, and a hardware platform of speech processing is constructed based on TMS320VC5416 processor and TLV320AIC23 audio codec. DSP application software is designed, McBSP connection and data transmission are configured, audio signal conversion processing is controlled, and G.729A encoding and decoding algorithm programs are optimized. Through debugging, the speech signal sampling, play and encoding/decoding functions are realized. Experimental results show the validity and feasibility of the proposed method.

Abstract:In order to reduce the operational complexity of codec, a scheme for G.729 speech codec algorithm based on DSP is presented,whose code optimization is specially discussed in this paper.The simulated results show the operational complexity is reduced reatly and the implementation of G.729 speech codec algorithm can completely be done with single TMS320VC5410 chip,the synthesized speech has the accordant codec effect with the standard.

PC is the controller of full process and decoder. This construction combines the high speed of DSP and the flexibility of PC. Abstract:The paper brings forward an idea of integrated real-time processing of Chinese text-to-speech conversion and speech coding decoding on DSP. Further more, this paper introduces both the hardware and software realization of integrated real-time processing on DSP chip. Integrative real-time processing based on DSP has the following characteristics: (1) a Chinese text-to-speech system for arbitrary text has been realized on a minimum single DSP system with capacity of no more than 1Mbytes;(2) flexible customization speech function is provided to improve naturalness of synthetic speech;(3) according to the communication channel capability, it has achieved flexible speech communication with speech synthesis or speech coding;(4) on-line reconstruction for integrative real-time processing based on DSP;(5) modularized structure for DSP software, it includes command-expositive engine, synthesis engine, coding engine etc, based on universal asynchronous serial port of RS232.

Abstract:This paper analyzes algebraic codebook excitation linear prediction (ACELP) algorithm, presenting an implementing scheme of ACELP based on digital signal processing (DSP). First this paper introduces the principle of ACELP, then the relation between linear prediction (LP) coefficient and line spectrum pair (LSP) is provided. Finally a block diagram of DSP based ACELP implementing scheme is given. Experiments show that output speech has a high quality.

Abstract:We presented a new Voice Activity Detection algorithm with combined employ-ment of short-time energy short-time zero crossing rate and short-time auto-correlation.The ap-plication was implemented using the circuit based on the DSP chip TMS320VC5402,and run in a radio /PSTN network auto switch system.The circuit provides good performance in the system and can fulfill the auto control of communication process by the speaker's voice.[

Abstract:A speech CODEC chip is introduced in this article,which has the facilities of G.723.1 speech CODEC, adaptive echo canceling and DTMF CODEC to meet the requirement of low bit rate communication in IP telephone systems. The G.723.1 algorithm is optimized to reduce the computational complexity according to the architecture of the DSP core; the echo cancellation is realized with the normalized least mean square(NLMS) adaptive filter; uses Goertzel algorithm to achieve DTMF detecting.All the modules are integrated in one TMS320C5402 DSP chip using less memory sources. ;;;

Abstract:Digital signal processing (DSP) technology is one core technology of modern digital speech communication,and the applications of DSP technology have established the foundation for speech collecting,processing and broadcasting.In this paper,the design of speech signal processing system based on digital signal processor is proposed,and the hardware platform is constructed utilizing TMS320VC5416 processors and AIC23 voice chip.Based on the characteristic analysis of DSP and audio codec,the software control interfaces have been configured,and the digital audio data transmission are implemented.The applications main program and subprogram are designed by using the mixed language compilation with C and assembly (ASM) language.And then some functions have realized in this speech signal processing system in debugging,which are audio collection,signal recording and sending out,and digital echo.

Abstract:A 1.5 Kbps low rate speech coding algorithm applied in short-wave communications is introduced,which takes advantages of the vocoder model of MELP(mixed excitation linear prediction) speech coding algorithm,so that the complexity and bit rate are reduced.The algorithm was run in real time in a hardware system containing DSP chip.Finally the simulation results are presented.

Abstract:A differential Pattern time delay shift coding(DPDS) method with a non-fixed code width based on the traditional Pattern time delay shift coding was proposed.The information is carried by the time delay between adjacent code element,the different linear frequency modulation(LFM) signal is used for adjacent code division.The DPDS system has an ability anti inter-symbol interference(ISI) and the Doppler effects.The computer simulation and lake tests prove that the DPDS system can improve the communication rate,inhibit the ISI caused by the multi-path channel and anti the Doppler effects.It is proved that the system has an effectiveness and robustness.

Abstract:The application of wavelet transform in image processing is to compile software on PC. As the method is used in the image processing off-line, the real-time operation must be implemented with hardware. The image denoising wavelet algorithm is realized on ADSP-21535 chip which is a product of Blackfin DSP series. The C++ program in VC is optimized and tested on ADSP-21535 emulator. The results show that using the resource of this DSP chip the real-time requirement is reached and the quality of image processing is good. The chip has a great application potential.

Abstract:A novel audio coding algorithm named LDX for interactive real-time communications is proposed in this paper.Instead of traditional audio coding technology,LDX adopts short analysis windows with fixed length for low-delay purpose.Meanwhile,for the sake of obtaining high compression-ratios and high quality,the psychoacoustic model and stereo coding of LDX are modified and improved,thus to raise the coding efficiency,and with the integration of FFT and MDCT into the psychoacoustics analysis the algorithm complexity is reduced while the analysis precision enhanced.

Abstract:In order to improve the signal-to-noise ratio of speech signal under strong noise background and enhance the quality of voice communications, a single channel speech enhancement system based on adaptive filtering techniques is established on the DSP-platform. Taking TMS320F2812 as the core, combining its Multi-channel Buffered Serial Port (McBSP)extended audio interface chip TLV320AIC23, speech signal acquisition and output with high speed is realized. Meanwhile, update the step size of adaptive filtering with tongue-like curve and introduce the de-correlation algorithm for speech de-noising, which improves the adaptability and convergence rate and reduces the steady-state error of traditional algorithm. Test results verify the denoising performance of the algorithm and stability of the system, also it improves the speech intelligibility obviously.

Abstract:In order to afford the reuse of DSP algorithm on different platforms, a DSP real-time implementation scheme of TI standard-compliant algorithm is presented. It defines a set of requirements for DSP algorithms. If followed, this standard allows the system integrators to quickly assemble production-quality systems from one or more such algorithms like that. Thus, this standard is intended to enable a rich COTS marketplace for DSP algorithm technology and to significantly reduce the time-to-market for new DSP-based products. A highly efficient standard-compliant implementation of G.723.1 on a 32-bit fixed-point TI's DSP chip, TMS320C6201 is presented to validate the feasibility of the scheme.

Abstract:The discrete multitone (DMT) modulation/demodulation is the standard transmission technique in the application of asymmetric digital subscriber lines (ADSL). Although the DMT can achieve higher data rate compared with other modulation/demodulation schemes, its computational complexity is too high, especially to compute the modulation/demodulation kernel FFT/IFFT. Hence, a lattice algorithm based on the time-recursive approach is presented, which is very suitable to run in programmable DSP. The algorithm requires only 11% number of multipliers and 9% number of adders compared with the direct implementation (N=256), so it improves greatly ADSL reality and applicability.
