Influence of deep-discharging on property of VRLA battery

Abstract:The influence of over deep discharging on property including initial capacity,charge retention and deep cycle life of battery was investigated through valve regulated lead acid battery over deep discharging in different degree. And the reason affecting property of battery was analyzed too. It was showed that: The property of changing battery was resulted from the relative content of α PbO 2 and β PbO 2 changing during recharging after battery deep discharging. The initial capacity of battery was increased, and the deep cycle life was shortened greatly because of over deep discharging.
