Abstract:A computer-aided design system is developed for socks' color-matching and creative pattern design. This system is composed of three modules, i. e., the pattern input, composite color-matching, and output modules. By using the sock pattern base and the element model base as well as the color-matching design base, various color-matching and pattern designs may be generated and the personalized designing becomes possible.

Abstract:A pattern design system is proposed, to encourage average persons to design patterns on their apparel by themselves. The system firstly acquires video images, then constructs tiling, finally maps the tiling to some certain shape of apparel and displays it. This process is configured by users through GUI. The system allows generating patterns from everyday objects by simply shooting the objects. The interaction with the system was praised to be interesting. The generated patterns were multifarious and funny. The system also achieved WYSWYG-what you see is what you get. © 2010 IEEE.

Abstract:On the basis of the information perception technology and mobile interconnection technology, through the technology of Agriculture Internet of Things, the multi-sensor system integration is realized, and the collaborative sensing of habitat information come true in crop production. This paper designs architecture of hardware and software for the system. By wireless multi-hop and seamless connection technologies of "triple net integration", common interfaces and scanning technologies of multi-sensor standard signal transform are used to achieve the multi-parameter information acquisition of crop during its growth. Wireless monitoring nodes of the Agriculture Internet of Things are distributed in each measurement point of the farmland, and they are responsible for information collection, pretreatment, and wireless transmission of eight parameters data, including the environment temperature, environment temperature, Light intensity, Carbon dioxide content, soil temperature, soil humidity, soil pH, soil salt. The data processing and service system execute remote data storage and on-line information release. The intelligent decision support system achieve real-time warning of abnormal parameters. Experiments show that the architecture of the system is reasonable, and the system has good accuracy, stability and reliability, in line with the practical application of grassroots agricultural field.

Abstract:In general, the design of silk products relies on the user's preferences. Conventional design system for silk products utilizes an old-fashioned design method that designers need to design the products manually. However, this task is very complicated and difficult. Therefore, the automation of products' design is very necessary. In this paper, we have innovatively built and verified a fuzzy rule-based expert system for silk products' design based on Web. We generate the fuzzy rules by summarizing the experts' knowledge and experience. Through connecting to the database, the expert system of silk products' design utilizes the data stored in the database and the rules stored in the knowledge base to reason out the design results which are needed. It was proved that the proposed expert system is able to advise on the design of silk products for designers. The results verified the robustness of the proposed silk products' design system that could provide satisfactory performance in this new idea.

Abstract:In this paper, a remote fitting system is proposed for garment e-commerce. The system includes a flexible humanoid robot, an interactive interface, a rotary shooting device and a comfort measuring device. We design a physical fitting robot to simulate body shapes of consumers and replace them to finish the fitting process remotely. The rotary shooting device is designed for taking and processing pictures of fitting results. The comfort measuring device is designed to obtain the pressure values and convert them into comfort information. The processed fitting pictures and comfort information are fed back to the customers as the reference when they buy or customize clothes, which helps to reduce the return rate of online shopping and increase the orders of customized garment. The remote fitting system eliminates the restrictions of geographical location and improves the accuracy of fitting results for garment e-commerce.

Abstract:In order to develop and perfect the integrated simulation function of cotton models, improve their management system levels of mechanism, digital, reliability, and wide-application, a digital and web cotton farming system based on model and GIS (Geographic information system) was developed by full utilizing the technologies of software component and parameter method, decision support and system design, GIS spatial technique, with integrating the advantage of prediction of simulation model, spatial information management of GIS technologies, decision support of management knowledge model. By inputting the parameters of varieties, climate, soil and production conditions, the system can set service for farmers, agronomists and researchers on farming zoning, cultivation strategy design, growth simulation, scheme evaluation, dynamic regulation and production analysis in cotton management, which provide digitalization, precision, dynamics, network services in prediction, design, management and control of cotton production system.

Abstract:This paper discusses in detail the key problems of the development of network for loom, and provides a practicable solution to developing an intranet-based monitor-control system in weaving industry. The solution includes the designs of network structure, software composition, protocol, multithread, database, etc. The monitor-control system is developed to satisfy the special requirements brought with the new characteristics in weaving industry, such as small batches, variety, fast pace. Abstract:An attempt was made to apply A.I.technique in creating art patterns for printing on silk, cotton and other printed matters. The Computer Aided Creation of Art Pattern System which can swiftly deliver various nice art patterns has been implemented on a microcomputer. This system consists of two subsystems in cascade. The first subsystem is a pattern construction system which plans an art pattern and completes its construction in casual colours. It has knowledge base, pattern element base, reservoir of selected pattern works, pattern automatic generating program, learning program, filling program and frame side piecing up program etc. The second subsystem is a colour harmony system. It changes the colours of a created pattern in harmony and gets patterns with different features of colours and in various styles. This subsystem has two knowledge bases which store the respective sets of knowledge rules of HVC and RGB systems and have their respective coordinators. It also has the learning program.

Abstract:To further promote the informationization of rice cultivation technology and make it user-friendly and popular,on the basis of summarizing and refining the rice quantitative cultivation theory and technology,we developed the Rice Design Cultivation System based on systematic methods,object-oriented design pattern and database technology,with integrated rice knowledge models on rice growth and developing,rice population indexes,rice cultivation and leaf color diagnosis.This system was time and space adaptable and could be used for designing object yield and yield structure,development stage,population quality indexes,population density,fertilizer application and irrigation according to specific environment factors with the features of simple input,plentiful output and easy-to-use.To verify the system,we used the data from rice productions following the solutions designed by the system at different years and locations.All of the observed yield and rice growth indexes were close to the system designed value.

Abstract:A design method and primary functions of pattern preparation system of computerized flat knitting machine are introduced. The system provides a formidable mapping system based on object-oriented and multi-document, so pattern becomes simple and flexible to be edited and displayed. In addition, the compiler has a novel method of compiling pattern data. Two pattern description files (PAT and CNT) are generated after compiled, which include all control information that computerized flat knitting machine needs. The system also provides a direct and friendly interface, through which user can accomplish pattern design quickly and conveniently.

Abstract:Aimed at satisfying the requirements of networked textile manufacture for Shaoxing, the overall scheme of networked textile manufacture system oriented to Shaoxing was put forward. The integration among various platforms and services were implemented by applying Enterprises Application Integration (EAI) based on Web Service, and Application Service Provider (ASP) pattern was adopted to implement this system. The Productivity Promotion Center of Shaoxing was selected as the ASP to be responsible for operation and maintenance of this system, and a hierarchical access control model was used to manage access control of the enterprises. At last, a physical architecture of this system was proposed considering expandability and security. The system based on the scheme is now running in some textile enterprises in Shaoxing, and is exemplified the development trend for the whole textile region and other economic regions.

Abstract:According to the development trend of the modern air-jet looms,the global structure design of technical parameter expert system for air-jet loom based on distributed database was presented to realize the intelligent design of processing parameters for air-jet looms.In the paper,the distributed system structure was designed.Based on the database,the knowledge database was built and the simplified design of the inference engine was realized.And the data synchronization over the windows based on the database and the relational database of windows CE embedded was implemented.The intelligentized default of the processing parameters for air-jet looms in the system owns the characteristics of open and easy operation.
