Abstract:IR multi-photon dissociation (IRMPD) of trimethyl phosphite has been carried out by a TEA CO2 laser. The fluorescence spectra near 326 and 520nm were assigned to electronically excited PO* and HPO* radical respectively. Sample pressure dependencess of fluorescence intensity were measured. Possible mechanism was suggested.
