An Integrated Process Management System for Virtual Prototype of Complex Product

Abstract:To realize development process management of virtual prototype of complex product,a three layered process integration model was presented which includes project layer,global process layer and micro process layer.Task decomposition,global workflow control and process auto plan within tasks were carried out in each layer respectively.Top-down programming and bottom-up feedback of the process were realized.The function and information integration with shared database of project management,workflow management and PDM of the development process were analyzed by researching the project,task and workflow model,and the process integration architecture was built.The extended timed-colored Petri net was proposed to analyse and simulate global process.It can effectively support the development process management of virtual prototype of complex product.
