Effects of Light Intensity on Growth Characteristics of Linum Usitatissmum L.

Abstract:The growth characteristics of flax seedling were studied under different light intensity by field test and laboratory test.The results showed that the emergence rate was higher under 5%~50% of natural light,compared with natural light.Seedling rate of Linum usitatissmum L.was max under 65% of natural light.With the decrease of light intensity,plant height and internode length increased.Weak light intensity(450 lx)made flax young stems thin and lower hardness,which couldn′t developed into seedlings.
