Identification to Cyberspace Dimension of the Electronic Warfare

Abstract:The concept of cyberspace dimension is proposed for the first time,and electronic warfare is staged based on it as staging criteria. The stages are as follows: three dimensional electronic warfare as the core of the early warning aircraft,four dimensional electronic warfare as the core of the relay satellite,multidimensional electronic warfare as the core of the big data network. The paper discusses the evolution mechanism of electronic warfare in cyberspace dimension with the theories of the metasystem transition and perceptual control. Firstly elements in electronic warfare system vary at random. Moreover,the variation promotes the controlling methods of electronic warfare system. That is the upgrading of the data link. Thirdly,the application scope of electronic warfare system is gradually enlarged. Then,the system transition of electronic warfare system occurs when the application scope is enlarged to a certain degree. Finally cyberspace dimension in the electronic warfare is increased when the transition is finished. The increase of cyberspace dimension is the tendency in the future of the electronic warfare. Based on the increase of cyberspace dimension,the paper puts forward the concept: dimensions are the military's asset.
