Abstract:Data synchronization is a kind of method of maintaining the data consistency in heterogeneous databases.For the feature of popular databases,a flexible method of enterprise data synchronization based on agent is proposed.In the paper,the technique of log capturing,SQL statement restoring and updating,and the strategy to data synchronization are mainly addressed.The system frame for this method is also presented.Finally,a program instance of data synchronization is implemented with the technique of agent.

Abstract:An open architecture of information integrating based on multi-agent (OAIIA) was proposed. OAIIA consists of interface tier, coordination tier and model tier, and each tier is composed of multi-agent. Due to the explicit three-tier structure of OAIIA and the autonomy, sociability, reactivity and rationality of multi-agent, the enterprise information integrating platform based on OAIIA has many advantages such as good open ability, integration ability and self adaptability. The implementation technique and a case of supporting dynamic business process based on OAIIA were discussed.

Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems

Abstract:To deal with the load balancing and fault tolerance in grid computing environment, a distributed scheduling model oriented to tradition and grid service execution mechanisms was proposed. In this model, redundancy and intelligent Agent were applied to enable service-level load balancing and fault tolerance, whilst operation process of the task-level case was considered. To improve the scheduling efficiency, a new definition, degree of credit, was introduced to concisely denote availability of grid resources and grid services, and it was also an important parameter in decision-making and Agent implementation. Context Agents were responsible for sensing the context of the grid, and balance Agents were enforced to automatically serve as the scheduler for dynamic load adjustment and fault tolerance. Among Agents, information exchanges were conducted via an Agent communication language. Corresponding simulation tests were implemented and their results indicated that this model and its supplementary mechanisms were suitable to grid environments.

Abstract:The Grid and agent communities both develop concepts and mechanisms for open distributed systems, albeit from different perspectives. The Grid community has focused on infrastructure, tools and application for reliable and secure resource sharing within dynamic and geographically distributed virtual organizations. In contrast, the agents community has focused on autonomous problem solvers that can flexibly in uncertain and dynamic environments. Yet as the scale and ambition of both Grid and agent deployments increase, we see that multi-agent systems require robust infrastructure and Grid systems require autonomous, flexible behaviors. So, an Agent Based Grid Infrastructure of Social Intelligence (ABGISI) is presented in this paper. With multi-agents cooperation as main line, this paper expatiates on ABGISI from three aspects: agent information representation; the support system for agent social behavior, which includes agent mediate system and agent rational negotiation mechanism, and agent federation structure.

Abstract:As the quick development of the agent and grid technologies, more opportunities and challenges are brought into the area of workflow. These technologies provide workflow with an ideal computing environment, which help business and science goals to be achieved effectively by means of integrating various distributed resources in an easy to access environment. In this paper, the novel distributed workflow architecture is proposed, which integrates concepts and technologies from web services, grid and agents. With this approach, coordination of workflow is achieved by communication between agents. Moreover, this approach enhances scalability and reliability.

Abstract:With the wide range of community needs, the rapid development of information technology and the rapid extension of the Internet, modern distance education has been more and more widely used. However, the current prevalence distance education system has series of drawbacks such as poor intelligence, lacking interactive tools, the loose knowledge structure, not high degree of resource sharing. According to Multi-Agent features and the process of daily teachers' guide for the students intelligent teaching process is analyzed based on Multi-Agent, and a new modern design models of distance education system is presented based on Multi-Agent. Its main functions and some of the key technologies of the system to achieve are discussed. The model of the intelligent Agent may obtain students' information. Using the repository to guide the students to realize the automatic answer to students. © 2010 IEEE.

Abstract:Aiming at the current construction situation of the integrated data platform (IDP) in electric power control center (EPCC), a practical and feasible construction pattern is proposed. And based on this foundation, the framework of IDP is proposed for EPCC using the multi-agent technology. Some multi-agent models, such as knowledge agent, virtual terminal agent, scalable vector graphics formation agent, model formation agent, are studied and the way of realization is analyzed with which effective and valid synthesis of the various application systems in EPCC can be achieved and the relative data can be highly shared.

Abstract:The emergence of mobile computing environments brings out various changes in the requirements and applications involving distributed data and has made the traditional Intelligent Decision Support System (IDSS) architectures based on the client/server model ineffective in mobile computing environments. This paper discusses the deficiencies of the current IDSS architectures based on data warehouse, on-line analysis processing (OLAP), model base (MB) and knowledge based (KB) technologies. By adopting the agent technology, the paper extends the IDSS system architecture to the Mobile Decision Support System (MDSS) architecture. The logical structure and the application architecture of the MDSS and the mechanisms and implementation strategies of the User Access Agent System, a major component of the MDSS, are described in this paper.

Abstract:In order to enhance the efficiency of software programming for the sales and allocation management system,and in accordance with the complex and fussy features of enterprise business process,a method is proposed that constructs the sales and allocation management system based on Multi-Agent technology.It first analyzes the enterprise business process of sales and allocation,and then the hierarchal structure of sales and allocation management system based on multi-agent in clothing enterprise is gained.The paper illustrates the function of each Agent and the collaboration between Agents.Finally,the realization of this system is given with an application case.In virtue of Multi-Agent technology,the capability of the system is enhanced in the aspects of intelligence and transplant.

Abstract:Over the past decades, Distributed Systems (DS) have been adopted for industrial applications to improve the system efficiency because distributed architecture has advantages in resource utilization, fault toleration .etc. Multi-Agent System (MAS) arises from combination of the theories of artificial intelligence and distributed systems. One character of MAS is their self-organization, so how to implement an effective mechanism for self-organization of agents is important to a MAS system, this paper describes the design and implementation of a Mobile-C based agent management system, in which Mobile-C was adopted as the implementation platform, and this paper also described an agent-based cooperative design application using this system to manage all the agents involved.

Abstract:More and more application services are provided and distributed over the Internet for public access. However, the security of distributed application severs is becoming a serious problem due to many possible attacks, such as deny of service, illegal intrusion, etc. Because of weakness of the firewall systems in ensuring security, intrusion detection system (IDS) becomes popular. Now, many kinds of IDS systems are available for serving in the Internet distributed system, but these systems mainly concentrate on networkbased and host-based detection. It is inconvenience to integrate these systems to distributed application servers for application-based intrusion detection. An agent-based IDS that can be smoothly integrated into applications of enterprise information systems is proposed in this paper. We will introduce its system architecture, agent structure, integration mechanism, and etc. In such an IDS system, there are three kinds of agents, i.e. client agent, server agent and communication agent. This paper is also to explain how to integrate agents with access control model for getting better security performance. By introducing standard protocol such as KQML, IDMEF into the design of agent, our agent-based IDS shows much more flexible for built in different kinds of software application system.

Abstract:The development of smart grid informatization and intellectualization requires real-time processing and fast analyzing of multi-source and multi-dimensional,massive and complex information data of power grid to achieve intelligent decision-making and timely dispatching of smart grid.In this paper,the information management of smart grid orienting to real-time monitoring information is studied based on multi-agent technology.Firstly,the significance and technical support for realizing informatization and intellectualization of smart grid are discussed.Then,the framework of information management system of smart grid is presented based on multi-agent technology,and relative design methods and functions of Agents in device level,subsystem level and system level are mainly studied.In the end,the algorithms of implementing the information management system are given based on multi-agent technology,and system functions are testified and analyzed by using test examples.The research works provide technical support for the informatization and intellectualization of smart grid.
