Evaluation on Comprehensive Benefit and Spatial-temporal Variance for Urban Land:A Case of Zhejiang Province

Abstract:The purpose of the paper is to establish a evaluation system on ULCB(urban land comprehensive benefit) by comprehensively evaluation on 11 cities' ULCB of Zhejiang Province from 2000 to 2004.Methods employed included weighted average,spearman rank relational coefficient,clustering and GIS analysis.Results show:(1)during the five years from 2000 to 2004,the change tendency of ULCB and harmony degree in Zhejiang Province indicate up and down respectively,and the tendency is different in 11 cities,however;(2)the relationship between ULCB,monomial benefit and harmony degree is diversified;(3)the ULCB,monomial benefit and harmony degree have no significant relationship with the urbanization level;(4)it reveals from the clustering and GIS analysis that those 11 cities can be divided into 5 classes,such as high benefit and basic harmony,medium benefit and high harmony,medium benefit and basic harmony,low benefit and basic harmony and low benefit and basic harmony.It is concluded that,as a whole,the land use condition in Zhejiang Province is sound,and the analysis on spatial variance witnesses specific characteristic of "industrial clusters" of Zhejiang economy,but the quality of urbanization should be improved in the future.
