Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Memory Function

Abstract:Diabetes Mellitus can result in multiple chronic complications,of which the central nervous system damage not only lies in the increased ocurence of brain stroke,but also lies in the influence on cognitive function.The main manifestation of cognition disfunction is the hypofunction of memery,especially the decreased ability of words memory,of which the decreased degree is related to many factors including the level of blood sugar,glycosylated hemoglobin and insulin as well as the course of disease.Controlling blood sugar effectively in early phase as well as regulating insulin level is helpful to promote memory function.
