Abstract:Unmanned aerial vehicle remote sensing(UAVRS) with the features of low cost, short revisit period, speediness and high efficiency, lightweight and flexibility, easy operation, and high accuracy etc., has become a research hotspot nowadays.It has also been widely employed in land resource investigating, agriculture and forest monitoring, eco-environment supervising and disaster evaluating, and demonstrates its advantages of elasticity, quickness, and high space-time resolution.This paper analyzed the application status of unmanned aerial vehicle remote sensing technology.For the special object of mining area, based on the analysis of typical mining districts' area and monitored objects and indexes, carrying platform, sensors and monitoring parameter of were dissected specifically.Then, the application of framework system of unmanned aerial vehicle remote sensing monitoring and land reclamation in mining area was established.Unmanned aerial vehicle remote sensing technology, being available for basic information investigation, geological hazards and pollution monitoring, land reclamation and ecological restoration plan, reclamation acceptance and effect monitoring and evaluation, will become a vital important technique in monitoring and land reclamation of mining district.

Abstract:Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are products of deep integration of aviation technology and Information technology (IT). The core factor of why the UAV industry can become a relatively independent industry and experience rapid development is the full penetration of IT into the aviation industry. Under the networked environment, UAVs are now becoming datadriven mobile agents. With the development of information technology, information transmission networking, operation space digitizing, and flight platform intelligentizing will become the main trends of technological development of UAV systems. The application of UAV systems is not merely a paradigm in transportation, but will more importantly produce "UAV+" novel production modes, service formats, and combat modes associated with UAVs. These emerging trends will have profound impacts on future economic and social development as well as the building of armed forces.

Abstract:The future battlefield will be unmanned combat as the leading role, and the unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) will play an important role in the future underwater battlefield. In order to maintain its maritime strategic advantages, the U. S. military has formulated a long-term development plan for the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAS) in recent years. The technology of unmanned underwater vehicles (UUV), which is characterized by strong endurance, high mobility, and high covert attack, has become the future development trend. In addition, Russia, with its strong industrial foundation and technical strength, has introduced its latest development status. At last, the latest research results of the new concept of surface/underwater cross-medium submarine were introduced. The results show that the new intelligent cross-medium submarine will become the mainstream of future development. The research provides a reference for the development of unmanned equipment in China.

Abstract:Recently, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) have been widely used in the military and civil fields. However, the battery power is a key factor that restricts the operation range of the UAV. Using wireless power transfer (WPT) technology to power UAVs can improve the endurance of UAVs and enhance their maneuverability and flexibility. In this paper, the WPT technology is divided into three types: near-field WPT technology, far-field WPT technology and solar-powered UAV. The developments, challenges and prospects of these three types of WPT technologies used to power UAVs are summarized. For each type of WPT technology, the basic working principles are first introduced. The development of each type of WPT technology, as well as the challenges and application prospects in UAV charging, is introduced. The related works consist of academic and industry research, ranging from prototypes to commercial systems. Finally, three types of WPT technology used in UAV charging are compared and discussed, and the advantages and disadvantages of each type of WPT technology are shown. The related research showed that using WPT technology to power the UAV is a promising way to enhance the endurance of the UAV.

Abstract:With the advancement of wireless communication technology, the number of wireless network terminals has exploded, and various new business scenarios have emerged. The 6G mobile communication technology not only surpasses 5G standards in terms of transmission rate, delay, power and other performances, but also extends the communication range to multiple fields such as air, ground, ocean, etc., which greatly promotes Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) communication technology research and development. Compared to terrestrial networks, UAV communication has advantages such as high flexibility and easy deployment. However, there are still many problems and challenges in practical applications. In this paper, we will first introduce the functions and application scenarios of UAV communication, then discuss the current challenges and related technical research, and finally look forward to the future development prospects.

The application potential of UAV is huge, which can improve agricultural efficiency and quality, and achieve sustainable development. Abstract:Based on the current development situation, this paper introduces the development strategies, policies, key equipment and research situation of unmanned ground vehicles (UGV) around the world. The present situation of UGVs is summarized into two main points. Firstly, the development progress of military unmanned ground autonomous systems is accelerated. And, secondly, the logistics UGV and armed autonomous UGV have been highlighted. In this paper, the development tendencies and the technical challenges of UGV are analyzed. The technologies to be developed in the future mainly include command and control (C2), communication, artificial intelligence (AI), and all-electric or hybrid electric drive (HED). Accelerating the research on intelligent UGVs is the key to win the information war in the future.

Abstract:The navy and other Department of Defense organizations are increasingly interested in the use of unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) for a variety of missions and applications. The term USV refers to any vehicle that operates on the surface of the water without a crew. USVs have the potential, and in some cases the demonstrated ability, to reduce risk to manned forces, provide the necessary force multiplication to accomplish military missions, perform tasks which manned vehicles cannot, and do so in a way that is affordable for the navy. A survey of USV activities worldwide as well as the general technical challenges of USVs was presented below. A general description of USVs was provided along with their typical applications. The technical challenges of developing a USV include its intelligence level, control, high stability, and developmental cost reduction. Through the joint efforts of researchers around the world, it is believed that the development of USVs will enter a new phase in the near future, as USVs could soon be applied widely both in military and civilian service.

Abstract:The rapid development of new technologies such as automatic control technology, sensor technology, and artificial intelligence(AI) has contributed to the development of unmanned airboats(UA) and their applications in recent years. UA has the characteristics of lightness, flexibility, and little environmental interference. It has been significant for accomplishing automatic environmental monitoring and agricultural production tasks, especially when the water environment is complex and challenging for traditional unmanned surface vehicles(USVs). This review focuses on the challenges faced in the development of UA and proposes specific targeted countermeasures and suggestions. The structure of the UA was first presented systematically, then its applications in environmental monitoring and agricultural production were introduced and summarized comprehensively. Finally, the challenges and prospects of UA were examined in detail. This review can provide theoretical and technical support to promote the applications of UA for automated operation.

Abstract:Recently, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), also known as drones, have gained widespread interest in civilian and military applications, which has led to the development of novel UAVs that can perform various operations. UAVs are aircraft that can fly without the need of a human pilot onboard, meaning they can fly either autonomously or be remotely piloted. They can be equipped with multiple sensors, including cameras, inertial measurement units (IMUs), LiDAR, and GPS, to collect and transmit data in real time. Due to the demand for UAVs in various applications such as precision agriculture, search and rescue, wireless communications, and surveillance, several types of UAVs have been invented with different specifications for their size, weight, range and endurance, engine type, and configuration. Because of this variety, the design process and analysis are based on the type of UAV, with the availability of several control techniques that could be used to improve the flight of the UAV in order to avoid obstacles and potential collisions, as well as find the shortest path to save the battery life with the support of optimization techniques. However, UAVs face several challenges in order to fly smoothly, including collision avoidance, battery life, and intruders. This review paper presents UAVs’ classification, control applications, and future directions in industry and research interest. For the design process, fabrication, and analysis, various control approaches are discussed in detail. Furthermore, the challenges for UAVs, including battery charging, collision avoidance, and security, are also presented and discussed.

Abstract:With the availability and development of multisensor, multitemporal, multiresolution, and multifrequency image data from operational Earth observation satellites, more limitations have also appeared in remote sensing image applications, and the most important one is the cost limit. To overcome the limitations, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology is developped for remote sensing application. It forms a rapidly developing area of research in remote sensing. This review paper describes and explains data acquisition and processing technologies for imageries from UAV, as well as summarizes the current application research with UAV. Then, it presents some problems and prospective for UAV development. It is our hope that this survey will provide guidelines for future applications of UAV and possible areas.

The article also explores potential advancements in UAV technology and new applications that could emerge in the future, as well as concerns about the impact of UAVs on society, such as privacy, safety, security, job displacement, and environmental impact. Overall, the article aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state and future potential of UAV technology, and the benefits and challenges associated with its use in various industries and fields.

Abstract:Abstract In recent years, the number of unmanned systems in the world has been increasing. The emerging underwater platforms such as UUV are large in number, small in size, low in speed and low in noise. In the future, a variety of ocean combat missions will use a large number of UUV platforms. The existing methods for detecting underwater vehicles mainly include sonar, magnetometer. Based on this, by referring to a large number of literatures, a review of the research progress of underwater exploration at home and abroad in recent years. And compared with the United States, Russia and other countries unmanned system detection technology and equipment, analysis of their applicable conditions and advantages and disadvantages. This paper summarizes the technical difficulties of underwater detection methods and proposes corresponding solutions. At the same time, we forecast the development trend of underwater detection technology in the future.

Abstract:In recent years, research and development in aerial robotics (i.e., unmanned aerial vehicles, UAVs) has been growing at an unprecedented speed, and there is a need to summarize the background, latest developments, and trends of UAV research. Along with a general overview on the definition, types, categories, and topics of UAV, this work describes a systematic way to identify 1,318 high-quality UAV papers from more than thirty thousand that have been appeared in the top journals and conferences. On top of that, we provide a bird's-eye view of UAV research since 2001 by summarizing various statistical information, such as the year, type, and topic distribution of the UAV papers. We make our survey list public and believe that the list can not only help researchers identify, study, and compare their work, but is also useful for understanding research trends in the field. From our survey results, we find there are many types of UAV, and to the best of our knowledge, no literature has attempted to summarize all types in one place. With our survey list, we explain the types within our survey and outline the recent progress of each. We believe this summary can enhance readers' understanding on the UAVs and inspire researchers to propose new methods and new applications.

Abstract:Recently, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) or drones have emerged as a ubiquitous and integral part of our society. They appear in great diversity in a multiplicity of applications for economic, commercial, leisure, military and academic purposes. The drone industry has seen a sharp uptake in the last decade as a model to manufacture and deliver convergence, offering synergy by incorporating multiple technologies. It is due to technological trends and rapid advancements in control, miniaturization, and computerization, which culminate in secure, lightweight, robust, more-accessible and cost-efficient UAVs. UAVs support implicit particularities including access to disaster-stricken zones, swift mobility, airborne missions and payload features. Despite these appealing benefits, UAVs face limitations in operability due to several critical concerns in terms of flight autonomy, path planning, battery endurance, flight time and limited payload carrying capability, as intuitively it is not recommended to load heavy objects such as batteries. As a result, the primary goal of this research is to provide insights into the potentials of UAVs, as well as their characteristics and functionality issues. This study provides a comprehensive review of UAVs, types, swarms, classifications, charging methods and regulations. Moreover, application scenarios, potential challenges and security issues are also examined. Finally, future research directions are identified to further hone the research work. We believe these insights will serve as guidelines and motivations for relevant researchers.

Abstract:Due to the rising concept of advanced air mobility (AAM), electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft has become the hotspot for academic research and commercial application. This paper provides a comprehensive review of latest researches related to autonomous eVTOL. It examines key technologies involved in autonomous eVTOL, including automated flight control, sensing & perception, safety & reliability, and decision making. It also addresses the technical, regulatory, and societal challenges associated with the wholesale adoption of autonomous eVTOL into AAM. The paper concludes with a discussion of future trends and recommendations, including the importance of integration with air traffic management, urban infrastructure and human–machine interaction. It aims to be a useful resource for those involved in the research, policy, and industry of autonomous eVTOL technology.

Abstract:Unmanned ground vehicles have a huge development potential in both civilian and military fields, and have become the focus of research in various countries. In addition, high-precision, high-reliability sensors are significant for UGVs' efficient operation. This paper proposes a brief review on sensor technologies for UGVs. Firstly, characteristics of various sensors are introduced. Then the strengths and weaknesses of different sensors as well as their application scenarios are compared.
