Strategies of Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases in Comprehensive Hospitals

Abstract:Measurements to prevent severe contagious diseases including SARS,H5N1 and H1N1 in general hospitals were summarized and analyzed at the present pressing epidemic situation.A comprehensive quality control model to achieve effective control of the diseases were brought forward and rigorously followed.Emphasis placed on the risk evaluation of contagious diseases and establishment of a comprehensive plan or a process were the key element.Various means to ensure the implementation and completion of the action plan such as training,preparing,patient flow,epidemic communication and strengthening the occupational protection were carried out and put into effect.Timely supervision and tracking of the effects were very important to prevent and control the contagious diseases.These worth the future reference to prevention and control of the other contagious diseases.
