Abstract:Five novel schemes for overlaying multicast service over a wavelength-division-multiplexed(WDM) passive optical network(PON) are proposed,and their feasibility for effectively dynamic multicast control is experimentally demonstrated.The proposed multicast-service-overlaid schemes are proven to be candidate techniques for future developments and practical applications of WDM PON.
