Determination of Extraction of Bergenin from the Traditional Herbs with Reversed-phase High Performance Liquid Chromatography

Abstract:The extraction of bergenin from saxifraceae was determinated by RP-HPLC. The chromatographic conditions were estabilshed as follows: C18 column (250 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm), CH_(3)OH∶H_(2)O (45∶55,V/V) as mobile phase and UV detection at 275 nm. The correlation coefficient was 0.9998. The relative standard deviation (RSD) of within-day and day-to-day was 0.79%～1.57% and 1.58% to 4.22%, respectirdy. The recovery was between 98.1% and 103.1%.
