Abstract:Seed dormancy and germination plays a key role in the living,propagation and distribution of a plant population.Plant hormones ABA and GA are endogenous signal molecules regulating the seed dormancy and germination.ABA induces the end of the division of embryo cells and initiates and keeps seed dormancy state,while GA generates the contrary activity,starting and promoting seed germination.Aleurone was set as a example to discuss the signal pathway of the activation and expression of amylases regulated by ABA and GA.
