Abstract:Ionic liquid as an environmentally friendly reaction medium is characterized by its low melting point,low vapor pressure,large electrochemical window,adjustable acidity,good solubility,viscosity and excellent surface tension.The aqueous two-phase extraction compared to the traditional extraction and other separation technology features mild operating conditions,and large treatment capacity capable of achieving easy and continuous operation.As a new efficient and mild green separation system,ionic liquids aqueous two-phase system combine the advantages of ionic liquids and aqueous two-phase extraction process,which has some clear technological advantages,for example,retaining the activity and conformation of biological substances during the extraction process.The investigation of ionic liquids aqueous two-phase extraction process has made some initial achievements and has been garnering increasing attention.This paper has introduced ionic liquids aqueous two-phase system and its characteristics,summarized the ionic liquids aqueous two-phase system in the biological industry analysis,drug analysis and metal separation process.This paper has also explored the prospects for the application of ionic liquids aqueous two-phase system.
