Abstract:In this paper, a new CAx/PDM integration framework based on STEP mapped XML-DTD/Schema has been addressed, which make an unanimous paradigm in production life cycle and Internet-based crossing-enterprise integration come true. And a new solution for CAx/PDM integration by means of Web service technology also has been represented. Finally, an example is illustrated to further argumentation.

Abstract:There are great varieties of devices in aerospace TT&C system,the data interaction protocol between devices are different, complex and frequently changed,which introduces great difficulties in software management,this paper provides a solution to realize the general framework of TT&C software.The format of XML files is introduced,the interface characteristic of aerospace TT&C software is analyzed,and a configurable, interface changeable TT&C application framework which is based on XML files is put forward. This framework has already been applied to the TT&C system, and significantly improves the efficiency and the accuracy of the software development process.

Abstract:This paper presents a novel Web Service based distributed collaborative CAD system employing feature as its collaborative design element and uses XML to define feature operations and communication protocol between the server and the client. To reduce network load and increase response ability of the system, the feature information is updated incrementally on the client. The system supports collaborative designing on heterogeneous platforms. Its framework and communication protocols are analyzed in detail. The experimental results from the developed prototype system showed that it can effectively support collaborative design under the distributed environment.

Abstract:Recently XML-based network management has been proposed as an alternative to complement the shortcom- ings of SNMP-based network management. However, most existing network devices are already embedded with SNMP agents and managed by SNMP managers. In order to integrate network management with XML and SNMP, an XML/ SNMP gateway is proposed to translate SNMP to XML. This paper firstly presents the advantages of using XML for the management of network. Then, specification translation and interaction translation are both discussed, the architec- ture of the gateway is also presented in this paper.

Abstract:The sharing and inner operating between different applications have become increasingly insistent demands in the process of implementing enterprise informationization. Firstly, the current situation of the existed information systems in the enterprise was analyzed. Secondly, the limitations of the traditional integration techniques were discussed. Thirdly, the advantage of Web services was described and an enterprise application integration framework based on Web services was presented. Abstract:The emergence of service-oriented computing and cloud computing advocate the development of new software applications on the basis of existing services. To make effectively and efficiently use of existing services, it is essential to describe services so that developers can easily discover and correctly exploit them for their own software development endeavours. In this paper, we present a framework in which existing services available through a cloud are modelled by Abstract State Services. For specification, we use TBox and ABox statements bound to XML Schema and XML. Given such a representation, XQuery can be used for service discovery.

Abstract:In this paper, we present our experiments in designing and implementing a dynamic user interface (UI) based on XML configuration files. Indeed, users usually need to customize software UI as they used to do. This customization includes of course the UI localization. We have developed a DTD that may help/guide developers to design and implement dynamic UIs. We also have specified a method that leads developers to build software using an XML based UI configuration. This paper introduces dynamic UIs as well as some languages dedicated to dynamic user interface generation. Then we present our own needs and explain why we have chosen XML as a solution to dynamically customize applications. We also present the architecture of our application as well as the implementation guidelines.

Abstract:EDI stands for Electronic Data Interchange, a method of transporting all types of information, such as purchase orders, invoices, payments and even graphics, to another party electronically. XML is a meta-language that allows users to define markup for their documents using tags. This paper first introduces the XML applications in our country and the defects of this method. Then puts forward a new XML resolution that combines EDI and XML technology together.
