Contemporary Urban Youth's Criteria of Mate Selection——Based on the Empirical Analysis of Nanjing Ten Thousand People Blind Date

Abstract:Through the data analysis of 936 members in Nanjing ten thousand people blind date,the results show that the main factors for Nanjing youth to choose a spouse are: height,age,work stability,personality,education degree,the sense of responsibility,character,housing,the dedication to work,filial piety,income,temperament accomplishment,appearance,marriage history,registered permanent residence,living habits,body healthy,priority profession,etc.Further analysis shows that: there are differences between urban youths on gender,age and education degree,but the gender difference is more obviously than others.Research shows that: as a new marriage field,ten thousand people blind date has provided platform and opportunity for youth,at the same time,it also exacerbates the urban "remain female" problem.
