Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation of the Adaptability of an Expressway System

Abstract:The evaluation of adaptability of expressway system is a multi-objective comprehensive evaluation problem. First,the concept of adaptability of expressway is defined,the 2-level index system to influencing factors include highway network layout,traffic operation quality,social influence,environmental influence is established,and the calculation method or the assessment basis of some indexes are given. Moreover,the membership relation is discussed,the classification of the evaluation indexes and calculation of their weights are performed,and a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model suitable for evaluating adaptability of expressway system is put forward. Finally,a numerical example indicates that the proposed method is suitable for evaluation of adaptability of expressway system.
