Abstract:A real-time system used for acquisition and analysis of EGC based on LabVIEW is presented in this paper. The system, utilizing self-developed EGC sampling circuit, realizes EGC measurement and A/D conversion and fulfils EGC data processing, analyze and display function under LabVIEW developing system.

Abstract:This paper designs a household ECG monitoring system based on virtual instrument technology. Its mobile terminal collects the ECG information, and then the information is transmitted to the virtual analyzer via the wireless communication module, so that realizing information sharing with medical institutions through the Internet. The paper introduces the design and implementation of the mobile terminal and virtual analyzer. Experiments show that the household ECG based on virtual instrument technology has a humanity interface, powerful analysis and extension function, in accordance with the trend of miniaturization, modularization and networking.

Abstract:A kind of precision irrigation detection and control system based on LabVIEW was developed,which consists of the sensors,test instruments,data acqusition board and LabVIEW software.This system has several functions as irrigation information collection,real-time monitoring,crop water requirement calculations,fuzzy control and decision-making.The test results show that the system has friendly interface and easy to use,which can achieve better forecasting of water demand and information management of crop irrigation.

Abstract:Based on National Instruments LabVIEW 2009, a network-edition virtual laboratory for digital signal processing (DSP) has been developed. Which is composed of three functional modules, that is, virtual experiment table, information management, and network communication. Hereinto, virtual experiment table is composed of two sub-modules, i.e. resource & document and simulation experiment; information management module is composed of four sub-modules, i.e. database, user registration, security verification and system management; network communication module is implemented by LabVIEW Web Server. The DSP Virtual Laboratory is suit for experimental teaching of a range of subjects, such as Digital Signal Processing, Signals & Systems, etc. And the designed virtual laboratory can provide users with a remote virtual experimental platform without time and space constraints.

Abstract:In this paper, we describe the design and implementation of a web-based electronic circuit simulation system named ECVlab. This system combines technologies as rich client technology, XML, and circuit simulation, and provides the user with vivid interface, convenient operation and powerful simulation capability. At the moment, ECVlab has been implemented and successfully applied in an undergraduate course in Zhejiang University and it was evaluated by undergraduate students. Students made statistically significant learning gains as a result of using ECVlab, and rated them positively in terms of improving operation capability, enhancing interests for digital circuit and offering opportunity to inspire innovation and exploration. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2005.

Abstract:With the development of E-learning technology, web-based virtual laboratory has aroused more and more attention of educators. In this paper, we describe the design of a web-based electronic circuit virtual laboratory system for digital circuit This system provides the user with real expression, convenient operation and powerful simulation capability. Furthermore, we designed segment-simulation mechanism and circuit status persistence mechanism to realize the simulation process in digital circuit. At the moment, ECVlab (Electronic Circuit Virtual Laboratory) has been implemented and successfully applied in an undergraduate course in Zhejiang University and has gained positive evaluation from the undergraduate students.

Abstract:Electrocardiogram (ECG) is a biological signal which reflects the electronic excitement of cardiac activities and vital signs. As a kind of signal time marker, the parameter information of ECG, such as R wave amplitude and RR period, plays an important part in clinic. According to the traditional characteristics of ECG signal, an ECG automatic analysis system is designed based on virtual instruments. The system based on LabVIEW 2012, which is applied to analyze ECG signal real-time, also has the feature of high efficiency development and good flexibility. ECG signal can be analyzed automatically in this system and the feature point can be displayed at the same time.

Abstract:Virtual laboratories extend the application area of virtual instrumentation to the web, which leads to an openly integrated environment for sharing teaching and learning materials and hardware and software resources. An interactive Virtual Laboratory for Electronic Engineering Education (VLE) was implemented based on Lab VIEW and other engineering education software such as MATLAB Simulink, MS Office and SQL Server. It consists of two sections: virtual simulation and real-time measurement. The system architecture, hardware configuration and system implementation are presented. Compared with existing virtual laboratories, VLE provides significant advantages and improvements in development efficiency, system expandability, flexibility for working independently, and multithreading safety.

Abstract:In this paper, a multi-node data acquisition and analysis system for the development of AT ECU (electronic control unit)is designed. The system acquires data from each node on the bus and sends the data to PC through CAN card, while designing data display, storage and analysis system on PC through LabVIEW8.6 platform in order to monitor control signals and state parameters of the automatic transmission in real-time. This system can improve the efficiency of data processing and shorten the development cycle for ECU by analyzing the data acquired. © 2011 IEEE.

Abstract:The purpose of this study is to design and develop a Web based circuit virtual laboratory for undergraduate student courses, which can be treated as an accessorial tool for enhancing instruction. The study firstly reviews the general concept of virtual laboratory and some related works. Secondly, the design and development of the system framework of this circuit virtual laboratory is discussed. Finally, the paper introduces the evaluation from the tutors and students using the virtual laboratory. One of the major objectives of this project is the client adopted rich Internet applications (RIAs) to enhance the students' learning experience and provides significant impact on users' learning motivation. With the support of this system, the students' uninfluenced learning and experiment process can be carried out at any place of the world where Web access is available.

Abstract:This paper introduces the design of Giant Magnetostrictive Actuator(GMA) characteristic test system which is based on virtual instrument,including the design of hardware and software of it.The software has been built by using the PC platform which has good man-machine interaction environment and LabVIEW,a kind of graphical programming tool.According to the function,it can be divided into data acquisition,display,storage,analysis and other modules.And then,the specific design method of the main modules has been presented in this paper.After that,the system is tested by some experiments which have proved the system is stable and high efficient.Overall,the static and dynamic characteristics of GMA can be tested by this system.And the results of it are important for the parameters' optimization and best control strategy's establishing of GMA.

Abstract:Based on WSN and Lab VIEW, a kind of ECG monitoring system is designed, which includes sensor input unit, data processing and transmission unit, as well as a back-end management center. Based on the schematic architecture of the system, hardware structure and software design of WSN nodes are mainly discussed. Finally the real-time waveform is displayed in the front panel of Lab VIEW. The result shows that the difference between the waveform observed from LabVIEW and from oscillograph is small. It proves that the design of the whole system has got a preliminary success.

Abstract:This paper introduced the design and implementation of data acquisition and analysis software for EMAT inspection device,based on virtual instrumentation technology.Voltage signal from EMAT receiver coil was acquired through high speed DAQ card,then analyzed,processed and stored on the computer.This software has friendly user interface,provides powerful functions including spectrum analysis,MATLAB environment interaction and automatic signal magnitudes continuous measurement,and simplifies the EMAT signals acquisition and measurement operations.

Abstract:The concentration or composition of industrial waste gas is an important parameter in process industry. According to the required of an industrial waste gas monitor and control project a system of data analysis and display is designed based on Lab VIEW. The system has 6 modules including error analysis, equal precision data processing, Non-precision data processing, uncertainty evaluation, least squares and regression analysis. Running results indicated that this system is steady and rapidly. It can be used to deal the concentration or composition data accurately in real-time and can be display the result by graph or character. Remarkably the system is designed by Lab VIEW, it is easy to modify, upgrade and to use as a sub VI in other Lab VIEW control system.

Abstract:In this article, we present the system development of Virtual EMC Lab (“Virtual Electromagnetic Compatibility Laboratory”). It is a toolkit developed for the electronic and electric product/system design, modelling, simulation, analysis, diagnosis and assessment tailored to the electromagnetic compatibility problems. The toolkit includes a solid modelling front-end which simplifies the geometrical structure of equipment under test (EUT), analytical and numerical solvers for different applications, and visualization tools. It is dedicated to solve electromagnetic interference, immunity and emission problems in board level and system level.

Abstract:For the purpose of better preventing cardiovascular diseases and improving the life quality of human beings,a scheme of an electrocardiogram(ECG)monitoring system based on wireless system-on-chip technology is presented in this paper.Firstly,the hardware design of the ECG signal sampler and the base station is shown in detail,including the design of the amplification circuit and the choice of the MCU-wireless system-on-chip package.Secondly,the wireless communication protocol between the ECG signal sampler and the base station is determined,based upon which the software for the ECG signal sampler is developed.Thirdly,the initialization and communication protocols between the base station and the remote monitoring center are determined,based upon which applications programs are developed.Lastly,the remote monitoring center is described.With the integration of wireless system-on-chip technique,wireless communication technique,embedded system technique and internet technique,the system finally fulfill the goal of remote ECG monitoring.

Abstract:Electrical and electronic experiment teaching is an indispensable and important part of engineering teaching. Oscilloscope is an indispensable experimental instrument in the teaching of these experiments, which is used to measure the electrical signals in the experimental process for analysis and processing. In this paper, a dual-channel virtual oscilloscope was designed based on the PC 16-bit sound card, which could correctly collect electronic signals within ±1V. Through LabVIEW graphical programming and multi-threading technology, these functions such as waveform display, channel selection control, parameter measurement and display, waveform storage and playback were realized. The innovation of this design is that it could automatically generate experimental report, simplifying the tedious operations such as drawing waveforms and filling parameters, finally quickly getting illustrated experimental report. From the test results, it can meet the requirements of daily experimental teaching, and it is of great significance to improve the quality of electrical and electronic experimental teaching.

Abstract:This paper introduces an 16-lead digital EEG signal acquisition system, which applies MCU MSP430 as central control unit with high performance analog devices and high speed multi-channel, multi-bit analog-to-digital converter as peripheral to retrench analog circuit. Data is transferred to PC by USART interface. Software on PC based on virtual instrument technology realizes real-time detection, display and storage. The system has many advantages such as high precision, stable performance, small volume and low power dissipation, thus provides a new means for digital EEG signal acquisition.
