This phenomenon gives rise to a scenario in which conventional media and emerging media exist in tandem. This article explores the interplay between the aforementioned media formats and evaluates their influence on the diffusion of information, engagement of audiences, and social dynamics. While conventional media maintains a steadfast social standing, the advent of new media has introduced interactive elements and improved accessibility, resulting in significant transformations in individuals' daily experiences. This research investigates the positive effects, such as enhanced availability of varied information, heightened involvement, and increased innovation, alongside the negative effects, encompassing the dissemination of false information, the building of echo chambers, and issues over privacy. This study underscores the need for media literacy in efficiently navigating intricate dynamics, underlining the necessity of making well-informed judgments in the presence of misinformation and the evolving media environment.

Abstract:There are a number of important technological changes in the history of human civilization.They often bring about revolutionary significance in the development of media.Mobile newspapers,digital journals,e-books and many other new media forms mark the arrival of the digital media age.New media technology has changed the form of newspapers,periodicals and books,as well as the way in which communication and cultural transmission take place.The great impact of new media turns out to be very similar to that of theory of cultural transmission pattern proposed by an anthropologist,Margaret Mead.The development of digital print media makes the experience of the new generation different from the previous ones,which reflects a reverse socialization procedure in Post-figurative culture.The reason for Post-figurative culture to turn into a new mode of cultural transmission is that changes in the world are always caused by the people who want to subvert the traditional ideas and concepts.In addition,the change in cultural transmission mode will influence the pattern of cultural production.

Abstract:Digital technology has significantly facilitated the development of the cultural industry, and the cultural industry has also become one of the most important fields to which digital technology is applied. Conducting an analysis of how digital technology empowers consumers, creators, producers, social interaction and cultural communication can help us understand how it has improved the efficiency of the cultural industry, propelling digital contents into becoming the mainstay of the cultural industry and making digital communication the principal channel of cultural transmission. Digital technology has reshaped the structure of the cultural industry, leading to marked changes in the structure of cultural consumption, cultural production, the cultural market, and the proportion of domestic to foreign culture. Abstract:New media penetrates people's lives in thorough aspects, and the majority of people are inclined to receive information through the Internet instead of purchasing newspapers or other approaches to get to know the events around the world. Some experts think it is undisputed that the promising prospect of new media will harm traditional media. As a result, the status of the traditional media arouse the public concern and at the same time provoke a heated discussion among individuals. The total printing volume has declined for nine consecutive years since 2012, and especially since 2020, the COVID-19 impacted the traditional media severely. The article aims at claiming the benefits of the fusion of new media and traditional media and studying the attitude towards each of the media and the fusion of two kinds of media. The research involves the literature reference method to illustrate the two-sides of each type of media. The article analyzes a lot of data from official website and the essay [1]. The impact of new media on traditional media was written by Lavanya Rajendran and Preethi Thesinghraja to identify the tendency of these media. Eventually, conclusions are drawn that it is profitable to combine the new media with the traditional media.

Abstract:With the accelerating innovation and convergence & penetration of information technology, China's publishing industry has been gradually transforming and upgrading from digitalization to a new stage of digital intelligence, which in turn has led to the progress and transformation of the entire digital content industry. This article discusses the four aspects of application of media convergence covered by digital media technology, which includes content creative convergence, product/service form convergence, content distribution channel convergence and content consumption convergence. PPMG is taken as an example to explore the theoretical research and practical application of convergent publishing from three levels. From the level of publishing industry, the innovative application of convergence of various elements of the industry chain is discussed, from the level of publishing groups, the innovative application of convergence of production and service models is discussed, and from the level of publishers, the innovative application of convergence of IP development and experience models is discussed. Finally, it is proposed that the direction of convergence publishing development is to deeply plow diversified scene services, to look insight into multi-dimensional user experience, to promote three-dimensional marketing integration, and to provide accurate digital content product services. The media technology in the scene era will change the media form, reshape the new media norm, reconstruct the new ecology of communication, and lay down the new thinking of publishing convergence.

Abstract:This chapter argues that the 2008 global economic crisis and the economic restructuring that followed have accelerated state-led digitization, corporation, and capital accumulation within the state media system. After contextualizing media reforms as part of the state’s cultural-system reform program, the chapter examines the case of digital TV, tracing the bumpy process of using convergence as a cover to corporatize cable networks and content production while revealing the leading role of state-owned digital media companies exemplified by Shanghai Media Group and Zhejiang Wasu in this process. It also underscores the inherent contradictions of the corporate digital-TV enterprise, especially demand deficiency resulting from systematic socioeconomic inequality and the contingency of public service left to the discretion of state companies that manage digital TV.

Contractions, abbreviations, emoticons, kaomoji, emojis, memes, screenshots, short videos, and video calls have emerged as dynamic elements shaping language styles. This study employs textual analysis to investigate the intricate interactions of multimedia forms on digital platforms and their impact on traditional communication styles. Abstract:The article discusses the challenge faced by the media and journalistic activity in digital technologies; Adapting to digital convergence represents an opportunity to improve the quality of content and new audiences, but it also involves significant challenges. The objective was to analyze how traditional media have begun an adaptation process to digital convergence. The study is quantitative using an exploratory, analytical, and synthetic methodology, with a population of 42 companies. The main result was the existing adaptation to digital in most media, while the minority consider it opportune and feasible, but prefer to continue traditionally and be known by their listeners. It was possible to conclude how important it is nowadays to adapt to digitalization, creating spaces for multimedia dissemination, to maintain and capture new audiences of different ages.

Abstract:This article addresses the role of digital technologies in redefining journalism. The research finds that the new media appear in the traditional news media mainly as a source of information rather than the originator of the news agenda or a platform for expressing public opinion. Data were gathered from the new media which were cited in the traditional media from 30 September to 30 December 2010. The analysis shows that the use of new media is driven by commercial considerations. Commercial concerns, rather than an attempt to improve the quality of news contents, largely determine how traditional media organizations use the new media sources.

Abstract:Historically, feature stories in the news have been characterized by their timely and episodic coverage of current events. In comparison, documentaries have been known to be in-depth, thematic explorations of social, political, or cultural issues. As news organizations expand their multimedia offerings and documentary filmmakers are increasingly driven towards creating interactive content, the boundaries between these forms of storytelling have become increasingly unclear. Through a comparative analysis and literature reviews, this paper investigates the creative elements such as narrative structure, visual style, and authorial voice in feature news videos and documentaries have changed within the contemporary media ecosystem, and examines the evolution of non-fictional storytelling. The study situates this inquiry within the broader context of disruption and reimagination in journalism and non-fictional storytelling within our digital landscape. Abstract:Digitization has been the new engine for high-quality economic development. This paper explores how digitization affects enterprises' green technology innovation. The study finds that digitization has a positive effect on enterprises' green technology innovation. The mediating effect suggests that digitization can promote enterprises' green technology innovation by optimizing the structure of human capital, increasing the attention of media and easing the financing constraints. The heterogeneity test finds that the larger the enterprise scale, the higher quality of internal control, and the stronger the promotion of digitalization to green technology innovation; The greater degree of environmental regulation of enterprises and the higher degree of industry competition, the more prominent the impact of digitization on its green technology innovation. This paper is a useful supplement to the traditional digital analysis framework, helping enterprises to better drive green technology innovation through digital transformation.
