Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical characteristics and influencing factors of the first febrile convulsion in children,prevent the onset of febrile convulsion in children.Methods The clinical medical records of 298 children with the first febrile convulsion in the hospital from February 2013 to August 2016 were retrospectively analyzed.The clinical characteristics and related factors of the first febrile convulsion were analyzed.The influencing factors of EEG abnormalities were analyzed.Results Among the children with the first febrile convulsion,64.43％ of the children were boys;31.54％ of the children were aged six months-one year,and 34.56％ of the children were aged more than one year and less than three years;44.63％ of the children were found with temperature 38℃-39℃ (including 39℃),and 25.50％ of the children were found with temperature 39℃-40℃;37.25％ of the children were detected from July to September;64.76％ of the children were found with simple febrile convulsion;11.41％ of the children had family history of epilepsy;17.45 ％ of the children had family history of febrile convulsion;64.43％ of the children were diagnosed as generalized convulsion;52.68％ of the children were found with convulsion twice or less than two times;64.43％ of the children were found with convulsion time less than 5 minutes;56.04％ of the children were found with EEG abnormnalities;77.52％ of the children were found with upper respiratory tract infections.Multivariate stepwise logistic regression analysis showed that teenage,high temperature,complex febrile convulsions,onset frequency＞2 times,long onset were the independent risk factors of the first febrile convulsion in children,the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The boys aged 6 months-3 years old are key population of the first febrile convulsion in children,July,August,and September are the high-risk time,generalized convulsiou was the main type.Teenage,high temperature,complex febrile convulsions,onset frequency＞ 2 times,long onset are the independent risk factors of the first febrile convulsion and EEG abnormalities in children.
