Abstract:Product data management (PDM) and enterprise resources planning (ERP) is the primary technology support on which enterprises enhance and maintain their competitiveness. It is one of the most critical issues facing manufacturing companies today to integrate PDM and ERP. An integration framework model of integrating PDM and ERP is proposed in this paper. The data structure of integration information model is described in the framework model. Data is captured through the wrapper that encapsulates the API by means of COM/DCOM technology. It can be adapted to the distributed environment. Based on this model , an integrating interface prototype has been developed.

Abstract:Product Structure Management is the core of both ERP system and PDM system and is necessary and important to manufacturing information engineering. A PSM system example aimed at practical project has been developed in the paper to present its function and key technology of developing. Abstract:Product Data Management( PDM) system has been playing more and more important roles in improving the efficiency of product development in enterprises. Based on the 863/CIMS researched project “Manufacturing Applications CIMS Integration Platform”, aim to the demand of the application integration in the enterprises, the characters of PDM to be severed as an application integration platform are described.The key problems in integrating CAD/CAPP/CAE/CAM with PDM system are analyzed. An integration schema is presented and an instance using the PDM system of SDRC incorporation is constructed.

Abstract:A BOM description language DBDL(Dynamic Bill of Material Description Language) is presented to form the dynamic BOM for mass customized products.Application of dynamic BOM in integration of PDM and ERP systems in mass customized enterprise is described and some interfaces of developed system based on PDM are illustrated.The result from demonstration case shows that dynamic BOM can efficiently integrate the PDM and ERP systems in mass customized enterprise and promote the application level of enterprise information tools.

Abstract:In order to better support product development and design for Mass Customization (MC), the key integration technologies of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Product Data Manage- ment (PDM) system were studied. Focusing on the data integration of part, the data model of part family and data mapping logic of CAD and PDM systems integration were discussed. The system integration architecture was put forward as well. Then several main function interfaces were developed including coding module interface, setting up tabular layouts of article characteristics and registration interface from CAD model to PDM. Finally, an application example was provided to verify the feasibility of principle and system.

Abstract:With the development of collaboration among enterprises, it is very desirable to securely exchange information between PDMs through Internet. The original user/password mechanism is very weak, unsecure and inflexible. And also,authorization based on PKC(public key certificate) cannot satisfy the temporary relations between enterprises. In order to satisfy the demand of secure information exchanges between enterprises, according with the genernal security management model of PDM system, This paper designed an AC(attribute certificate) model based on PKC. The model was based on TTP architecture to achieve trust between enterprises and automation of enterprises' collaboration, and reduced the startup cost. And it provides not only reliable authentication and data protection, but also flexible access control and secure audit, and effectively implements information exchanges between enterprises. The new model can be well used in the fields of automobile manufacture,electronics,mechanics and so on.

Abstract:To solve the problems of the dynamic information management in the product data management for the enterprises,an abstractive mathematical model is established on the basis of the general analysis of product dynamic process.The model consists of the designed object,design activity,parameter and user,among which the design activity is further made up of the attribute,the sub-activity,the disassembling mode,the constraint,the reference information,the results and the father design activity.In addition,the process management,version management and the right management reflecting the main product dynamic management are also discussed.At last,the applicability of the model to an actual product dynamic management is confirmed with the example of a boiler thermodynamic calculation design process.
