Abstract:Sensory processing abnormalities are common, clinically distressing features of iASD and associated single-gene disorders, but little is known about their underlying biology. Sensory hypersensitivity is common in Fragile X Syndrome (FXS) however Phelan McDermid Syndrome (PMS) is more strongly characterized by reduced sensory reactivity.
