Abstract:The primary goal of this paper is to find a common solution of a split null point problem, split variational inequality problem and fixed point problem for a nonexpansive semigroup with the help of new type of iterative algorithm. We construct that the sequences induced by the proposed iterative method to solve the above stated problems in the setting of real Hilbert spaces and obtain a strong convergence theorem. We also deduce certain consequences from the main convergence result. At the end, we provide a numerical experiment to demonstrate the convergence analysis of proposed iterative method. The methodology and conclusion described in this work extend and unify previously published findings in this field.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce a novel non-convex combination iterative algorithm to solve a family of split equilibrium problems in Hilbert space and prove the strong convergence for the designed algorithm. The algorithm is completely different with the hybrid projection algorithms or viscosity approximation algorithms that have been considered in the literature. Finally, a mnnerical example in infinite dimension space is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the algorithm and another example is used to compare the the computed result with the one of other in the literature.

Abstract:The relaxed CQ algorithm is one of the most important algorithms for solving the split feasibility problem. We study the issue of strong convergence of the relaxed CQ algorithm in Hilbert spaces together with estimates on the convergence rate. Under a kind of Holderian type bounded error bound property, strong convergence of the relaxed CQ algorithm is established. Furthermore, qualitative estimates on the convergence rate is presented. In particular, for the case when the involved exponent is equal to 1, the linear convergence of the relaxed CQ algorithm is established. Finally, numerical experiments are performed to show the convergence property of the relaxed CQ algorithm for the compressed sensing problem.

Abstract:In this paper, we propose four alternated inertial algorithms with self-adaptive stepsize to address the split equality equilibrium problem (SEEP) in real Hilbert spaces, without the need for any prior knowledge of the operator norm. Moreover, these algorithms adopt the convex subset form by a sequence of closed balls rather than half-spaces, and it is simple to calculate the projections onto these sets. Under some proper assumptions, we demonstrate weak and strong convergence theorems of our algorithms, particularly strong convergence towards the minimum-norm solution of the SEEP. As application, we will utilize our results to study the split equality variational inequality problem. Finally, we provide a numerical example to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.

Abstract:This paper introduces an innovative inertial simultaneous cyclic iterative algorithm designed to address a range of mathematical problems within the realm of split equality variational inequalities. Specifically, the algorithm accommodates finite families of split equality variational inequality problems, infinite families of split equality variational inclusion problems, and multiple-sets split equality fixed point problems involving demicontractive operators in infinite-dimensional Hilbert spaces. The algorithm integrates well-established methods, including the cyclic method, the inertial method, the viscosity approximation method, and the projection method. We establish the strong convergence of this proposed algorithm, demonstrating its applicability in various scenarios and unifying disparate findings from existing literature. Additionally, a numerical example is presented to validate the primary convergence theorem.

Abstract:In this article, using an Halpern extragradient method, we study a new iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of solutions of multiple set split equality equilibrium problems consisting of pseudomonotone bifunctions and the set of fixed points for two finite families of Bregman quasi-nonexpansive mappings in the framework of p-uniformly convex Banach spaces, which are also uniformly smooth. For this purpose, we design an algorithm so that it does not depend on prior estimates of the Lipschitz-type constants for the pseudomonotone bifunctions. Furthermore, we present an application of our study for finding a common element of the set of solutions of multiple set split equality variational inequality problems and fixed point sets for two finite families of Bregman quasi-nonexpansive mappings. Finally, we conclude with two numerical experiments to support our proposed algorithm.

Abstract:We consider a system of pseudomonotone equilibrium problem and split common fixed point problem in the framework of real Hilbert spaces. We propose a modified extragradient method with line searching technique for approximating a common element in the sets of solutions of the two nonlinear problems. The convergence result is proved without prior knowledge of the Lipschitz-like constants of the equilibrium bifunctions and the norm of the bounded linear operator of the split common fixed point problem. We further provide some application and numerical example to show the importance of the obtained results in the paper.

Abstract:The split common fixed point problems has found its applications in various branches of mathematics both pure and applied. It provides us a unified structure to study a large number of nonlinear mappings. Our interest here is to apply these mappings and propose some iterative methods for solving the split common fixed point problems and its variant forms, and we prove the convergence results of these algorithms. As a special case of the split common fixed problems, we consider the split common fixed point equality problems for the class of finite family of quasi-nonexpansive mappings. Furthermore, we consider another problem namely split feasibility and fixed point equality problems and suggest some new iterative methods and prove their convergence results for the class of quasi-nonexpansive mappings. Finally, as a special case of the split feasibility and fixed point equality problems, we consider the split feasibility and fixed point problems and propose Ishikawa-type extra-gradients algorithms for solving these split feasibility and fixed point problems for the class of quasi-nonexpansive mappings in Hilbert spaces. In the end, we prove the convergence results of the proposed algorithms. Results proved in this chapter continue to hold for different type of problems, such as; convex feasibility problem, split feasibility problem and multiple-set split feasibility problems.

Abstract:We introduce a new optimization approach to solving systems of split equality problems in real Hilbert spaces. We use the inertial method in order to improve the convergence rate of the proposed algorithms. Our algorithms do not depend on the norms of the bounded linear operators which appear in each split equality problem of the system under consideration. This is also a strong point of our algorithms because it is known that it is difficult to compute or estimate the norm of a linear operator in the general case.

Abstract:Bregman distance methods play a key role in solving problems in nonlinear analysis and optimization theory, since the Bregman distance is a useful substitute for the metric. The main purpose of this paper is to investigate two new iterative algorithms based on the Bregman distance and the Bregman projection for solving split feasibility problems in real Hilbert spaces. The algorithms are constructed around these methods: Byrne's CQ method, Polyak's gradient method, Halpern method, and hybrid projection method. The proposed methods involve inertial extrapolation terms and self-adaptive step sizes. We prove that the proposed iterations converge strongly to the Bregman projection of the initial point onto the solution set. Some numerical examples are provided to illustrate the computational effectiveness of our algorithms. The main results extend and improve the recent results related to the split feasibility problem.

Symmetry

Abstract:The concept of symmetry has played a major role in Hilbert space setting owing to the structure of a complete inner product space. Subsequently, different studies pertaining to symmetry, including symmetric operators, have investigated real Hilbert spaces. In this paper, we study the solutions to multiple-set split feasibility problems for a pair of finite families of β-enriched, strictly pseudocontractive mappings in the setup of a real Hilbert space. In view of this, we constructed an iterative scheme that properly included these two mappings into the formula. Under this iterative scheme, an appropriate condition for the existence of solutions and strong and weak convergent results are presented. No sum condition is imposed on the countably finite family of the iteration parameters in obtaining our results unlike for several other results in this direction. In addition, we prove that a slight modification of our iterative scheme could be applied in studying hierarchical variational inequality problems in a real Hilbert space. Our results improve, extend and generalize several results currently existing in the literature.

A new accelerated self-adaptive stepsize algorithm with excellent stability is proposed under the effects of inertial techniques and Meir–Keeler contraction mappings. The strong convergence theorems are obtained without prior knowledge of operator norms. Finally, in applications, our main results in this paper are applied to signal recovery problems.
