Abstract:Based on the operating characteristic of the therma l power generating unit of pipingmain scheme,the theory of energy-loss analysis w as applied to deducing the quantitative method for calculating energy-loss by e qu ivalent enthalpy drop theory.The method of energy-loss analysis of thermal powe r generating unit is introduced in detail,and applied to online energy-loss ana lysis system.Then the structure and functions of the performance monitoring and operation optimization management system is studied. The system provides scienti fic foundation for power plants in energy source savings,reduction of produc tion cost,and enhancement of economic profit.

Abstract:Aimed at effectively monitoring and managing indoor steam pipe network in thermal plant, mathematic model of steam pipe was constructed which based on exergy analysis method. In order to improve system function, expandability and upgrade, the thermal efficiency analysis module was developed which based on component object model (COM) technology of Microsoft. The nested analysis module operated in boiler DCS system. The module analyzed pressure loss, temperature drop, exergy and heat loss of main pipe. Practical operation indicated the module was reliable, modular and easy to reuse. It supervised main steam pipes in plant and correctly evaluated their thermal efficiency.

Abstract:The theory of equivalent enthalpy drops can be applied for simple quantitative analysis and calculation of the heat-cycle system of turbine units. This work based on the calculated heat balance of the heat-cycle system revealed the essential significance of the theory of equivalent enthalpy drops; based on these conditions: invariable beginning and ending steam parameters, invariable steam flux, a constant as eigenvalue of heat-cycle system. After consideration of small interference theory, the patulous energy-loss analysis theory uniting the theory of equivalent enthalpy drops and the theory of heat-warp was derived for real-time energy-loss analysis of power plants. The results of practical application in the thermal power plant prove that this method is simple and effective.

Abstract:In view of the influence of terminal temperature difference during operation of heaters in heating network and departure of extraction pressure loss from standard value upon the extraction pressure for heating system, two mathematical models to quantitatively calculate the vaviation of unit′s economic condition are obtained respectively by using the equivalent enthalpy drop theory and the calculation method of performance under variable conditions. The calculation results from the two said models have been compared through practical examples, it is found that the calculation model by using the equivalent enthalpy drop theory can meet the practical engineering requirements.

Abstract:A dynamic optimization model of thermal system in a thermal power plant is proposed to analyze real- time energy loss distribution in the system, and to solve its dynamic optimization. Calculation method of absolute efficiency of steam turbine is improved in order to meet the demand of online calculation and performance analysis. The problem of optimization for its main cycle is different from the problem of analysis of its energy loss distribution in the new model. Converse matrix of structure matrix of thermal system is a matrix of flow distribution of thermal system in nature. Based on main cycle of the system, a group of equations are conducted to calculate the changes of its main cycle efficiency when parameters of its main cycle go through virtual processes. Optimum performance of thermal system can be approached gradually by choosing composition of controllable parameters that can improve the real-time efficiency of main cycle. Energy loss distribution of auxiliary cycles of the system can be determined dynamically.

Abstract:To improve the economical operation of the steam turbine,energy-loss models were built to provide operation adjustment guide by decomposing the total energy-loss of the turbine between current condition and optimal condition into losses of corresponding monitoring parameters.The equivalent enthalpy drop method was used to build energy-loss models of cycle parameters,which not only unifies the modeling method,but also is feasible for on-line application.Compared with traditional thermodynamics modeling,the proposed algorithm has the advantages of few-workload and accuracy.

Abstract:Based on the equivalent enthalpy drop theory, the mathematical models for calculating equivalent enthalpy drop, efficiency and heat absorption of the regeneration extraction steam were established according to the characteristics of thermal systems of supercritical pressure power units. Then the rules for analyzing the economy of thermal system changes were presented. The correctness was verified by an example. The result shows that the proposed economy analysis method is easy to be used for calculating the index change of supercritical pressure power units.

Abstract:Based on the theory of equivalent enthalpy drop and aiming at the supercritical pressure unit with double reheat cycles, a set of mathematical models for calculating equivalent enthalpy drop and efficiency of regeneration cycle are established. Through a strict theoretical analysis and mathematical formulation, a calculating method for the equivalent enthalpy drop of nominal and real extractions is obtained, and the principles for local quantitative analysis of the economics for the thermal system of supercritical pressure unit with double reheat cycle are given. A set of complete quantitative calculating methods is formed in which by using the model, only 3 equations are needed and result in a fast and convenient calculation the economics changes of the system during a local adjustment and changes of the criterion, and provides an accurate method for the economics analysis and energy-saving diagnosis for such kind of units. A practical case study has proved the feasibility and accuracy of the model.

Abstract:Mathematical model of gas compression and expansion process for reciprocating compressor with gas leakage and unsteady heat transfer is established,based on the variable mass thermodynamic theory,the computer is used to solve the mathematical model.Effects of heat transfer and gases leakage on the compression and expansion process are discussed respectively.Comparing with the experimental data,the compression and expansion process mathematical model is right,it is helpful to describe the compression and expansion process for reciprocating compressor.

Abstract:In order to analyze energy saving effect of drainage pump and drainage condenser, three models including heat balancing calculation, equivalent enthalpy drop integral calculation and equivalent enthalpy drop local calculation are established;Based on the heat balancing calculation, the paper compares the difference of there models, the result indicates that the two models of the heat balancing and the equivalent enthalpy drop integral are the same, and the equivalent enthalpy drop local calculation exists acceptable error;Moreover we analyze the equivalent enthalpy drop local model in the paper, pointing out the reason of the error and give the amend calculation. The result indicates that the amended equivalent enthalpy drop local model can reduce error when the thermal systems have not too much local variation. Finally, the paper compares the efficiency of different drainage using system and provides quantitive data for the thermal system energy saving modification.

Abstract:In order to reduce the consumption of energy and raw material,stations of pneumatic recycling,vapor evacuation and compression for condensate were established,and a system of real-time data collection and online intelligent monitoring optimization offline simulation was applied:the losses of steam system consisted of measurement loss,trunk pipelines heat loss and emptying condensate loss,and the total loss was about 22% of total steam.The calibration results showed that the steam losses could reduce about 5 t/h and the recycling condensate was 10-20t/h for low-pressure steam.After the application of automatic data collection station,the steam losses could reduce 3.5t/h.By improving the heat insulation effect of pipeline,the steam of 60.8kt/a could be saved.

Abstract:Basic parameters such as exhaust efficiency are needed in local quantitative analysis of equivalent enthalpy drop,which would be influenced by local change.With less consideration of this ruthless influence,traditional arithmetic model affected using effect of equivalent enthalpy drop method in different degree.In order to analyze influence on traditional local quantitative arithmetic by changes of steam extraction heat release quantity,drain water heat release quantity and feed water decalescence,this paper studied local quantitative model of extraction pressure change(two conditions),compared different influence on local quantitative model by enthalpy changes of extraction steam,out flowing feed,and drainage,and advanced amendatory arithmetic.Validated result of thermal balance method showed the correctness of amendatory model.

Abstract:The terminal temperature difference of facial heater in thermodynamic system is a major factor affecting the performance of steam cycles.Evaluating exactly heat economy of unit caused by heater terminal temperature difference is significant meaning for the design,operation and repair of thermodynamic system.This paper is based on the equivalent heat drop method and an improved algorithm model is defined and recommended.Taking sub-critical parameter 600MW unit as research object,the results of improved algorithm model was compared with the results of normal energy balance method.The result show that the improved algorithm model was rapid,convenient and accurate.

Abstract:The thermodynamic model of waste heat recovery generation system is built to present a quantitative thermodynamic analysis and comparison for the effects of several thermal parameters on the system performance.It is found that,the most important thermal parameters are gas inlet temperature,steam pressure and pinch point temperature difference.Higher gas inlet temperature,lower steam pressure or pinch point temperature difference lead to lower exhaust gas temperature,larger evaporation and higher efficiency;however,the requirement of the lowest exhaust gas temperature brings the lower limits for the steam pressure and pinch point temperature difference.

Abstract:Using two new thermal parameters of extraction equivalent enthalpy and extraction efficiency,equivalent enthalpy drop method has features of convenience and flexibility for energy-saving potential of thermal system analysis.But the consistency with the result of traditional thermal balance method has been focus of people's attention.Relative research proved that the two methods have consistency on the main heating system.This paper discussed the mutual relations between these two methods,aiming at actual heating system including influences by auxiliary components of the use of gland steam,losses of steam and water,and feedwater enthalpy increase by pump.And proved the consistency of equivalent enthalpy drop method and the heat balance algorithm in theory by thermal equilibrium matrix equation.The calculation of the practical example validated this conclusion.
