Abstract:Chronic cough is a common respiratory disease,we integrated the domestic literature on the etiology and pathogenesis of chronic cough and treatment profiles summarize the clinical level to improve the diagnosis and treatment of chronic cough to provide evidence. The cause of longer duration,so the pathogenesis is complex,with the evils of the invasion and dysfunctional organs close. There are theories of traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment of chronic cough and rich clinical experience systems,because cough phenotype,its complex syndromes,therefore,need diagnosis and treatment of the disease,we cough variant asthma(CVA),upper airway cough syndrome(UACS),eosinophilic bronchitis(EB),gastroesophageal reflux cough(GERC)4 kind of cough are discussed,mostly internal organs for the program currently conducted type of treatment,or on the basis of dialectical proposed a basic side treating. Combined on the basis of diagnosis and treatment of different causes of Western medicine dialectical combination of treatment with disease,good effect,is worth promoting. But due to the complexity of the pathogenesis of chronic cough,longer duration,clinical treatment is difficult,therefore,when clinical disease should stick to prescription or apply some type of,when the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation combined with the core in order to achieve therapeutic purposes.
