Abstract:Seafloor observatory network is a subject service for undersea exploration and researching work.To realize condition monitoring,data measuring and the transmission preservation of other communicating signals,it is especially important to design and study monitor system of bank basestation and series data monitor system.Focusing on the features of Seafloor observatory,the paper realized working condition monitor,measurement transmission with VC and SQL-Serve technique,as well as share monitor data with Internet with the help of Web technique. Besides viewing of the long term and stableness features of seafloor observatory network,the paper put forward improving method and design idea,which were proved effective and reliable by practical running. Abstract:Substation is an important part of power system and its operation status exerts great effect on the safety of power system. Comprehensive monitoring management platform for substation (CMMP) is a digital monitoring platform which has uniform interfaces; flexible expansibility and hierarchical network control ability, and it is custom-designed for safe operation of substation. CMMP consists of direct current real-time monitoring subsystem, intrusion detection and hierarchical video monitoring subsystem, temperature and humidity and fire monitoring subsystem based on WSNs. CMMP adopt composite structure of C/S and B/S which would be convenient for computer and other mobile end to query monitoring information. Owing to the perfect private network of power system, CMMP can monitor both local and cross-domain substations. In addition, CMMP can classify and manage all kinds of alarm information from substation and realize distribution monitoring centralized management.

Abstract:A kind of real-time monitoring system is developed, which fits different DCS systems and has a good real-time performance. In this system, the display module runs in web browser as a ActiveX component, which makes it easy to maintain, and a system uses UDP data package to transmit data with a high real-time performance. Abstract:MDF remote intelligent supervisor system reduces administrators redundance and facilitates concentrating management of the distributed switching offices,which monitors malfunction of the remote office and transfers the messages to the center office. This system adopted ARM7TDMI-S3C44B0X as main processor produced by SAMSUNG Corp. The communication method between center machine and the remote one is based on Ethernet. The paper elaborates the system scheme and the realization of network communication.
A New Highly Reliable Train Operation Monitoring Device

Abstract:The controller is the backbone of the new train operation monitoring device.Its network structure includes two layers: the control layer and the communication layer.The integrity of the control functions can be assured by the layered network.The reliability of module-level redundancy and system-level redundancy is analyzed and compared.On this basis,the better module-level redundancy is adopted for the new train operation monitoring device.Also,the scheme for designing the hardware redundancy switching circuit and the intelligent modular input/output module is proposed.Large capacity CF card is used as the carrier for the dump of ground basic data.By applying MD5 code verification technology and data redundancy storage technology,the ground basic data in the on-board host computer and the display has been automatically fully updated at the same time.The train operation monitoring device has improved both the security and usability for updating ground basic data.Ground tests and service running tests show that the device has basically met the current requirements for train operation and thus can guarantee the safe train operation control.

Abstract:Log management module plays an important role in the massive spatial database management system. Recently there are few three-dimensional spatial database management systems with pertinent log management sub-system, or the administrator can only use the log, which is attached by database system, to recover the data. To improve this issue, hierarchical structure of the log management module should be taken into account. The overall design of three-dimensional spatial database management system is as follows: three-dimensional spatial database (including database system, file system), three-dimensional spatial data engine, and three-dimensional space management tools. The log management module is designed to solve the problem of complexity and inconvenience of three-dimensional spatial data manipulation records. According to the 3D spatial database management system design, we divided the log management into three layers. The log management system includes monitor layer of three-dimensional spatial database's triggers and file database system operations recording statements, interface layer of log management module of three-dimensional spatial database engine, and graphical user interface layer of log management module of three-dimensional spatial data management tools. Monitor layer design includes database system trigger design. When the database table has been dynamically created, the trigger will be automatically created and record the database operations, then the file system calls function to record the log. Interface layer design includes accessing the database, reading the log table in database and other integrated operations, including query and delete. Graphical user interface layer mainly includes the design of graphical interfaces, the function call form interface layer, and log data operations. In order to work on the layers conveniently, database system trigger and file database system's record are used to record the operation of the database. The log module interface in three-dimensional spatial data engine is used to exchange the data between graphical interface and underlying database. The log module in database management tools can directly provide a graphical interface, but not need to provide access functions to get the log data. This design method has an excellent scalability and flexibility, and can also be made appropriate changes to meet the new needs.

Abstract:The key technology in monitoring and alarming was investigated, aiming at the data exception and system fault existing in digital campus information system. Data monitoring and management flow was proposed and a data monitoring platform combining monitoring and alarming as well as data management was established. According to the actual requirement of universities, a 3-layers data monitoring system on digital campus was designed and implemented. By accomplishing about 100 data monitoring tasks in multiple business activities, it met the expected result in the establishment and operation of digital campus.

Abstract:With the development of urban underground space in China, foundation pits have followed a trend toward larger area and greater depth. To ensure the safe excavation of foundation pits, it is necessary to monitor their deformation and the internal force of supporting structures and then use assessments of pit and building stability to guide construction. This paper introduces the design and development of a safety monitoring and warning system for deep foundation pits and adjacent buildings. The monitoring information management system uses Visual Studio 2013 as its development platform and adopts the SQL and C# programming languages to realize its powerful data management and visualization functions. By combined consideration of the monitoring information and the layout of the measuring points, monitoring data on the deformation of the deep foundation pit, ground subsidence and deformation of adjacent buildings are analyzed comprehensively. The results show that: first, the horizontal deformation of the side wall of the rock foundation pit achieves its peak value when 50% of the excavation has been completed and tends to change steadily after the completion of anchor construction. Second, the ground surface around the Fengjing area exhibits upward vertical deformation closest to the side wall of the foundation pit, and then downward deformation at greater distances from it. The ground surface relatively far from the side wall exhibits settlement. Third, the internal force of a plate-ribbed anchor retaining wall in the Fengjing area becomes greater at greater depths. Finally, the excavation of a rock foundation pit has relatively little influence on the inclination of adjacent buildings.

Abstract:Base on the feature of a multi-processing system KD-60, a web-based monitoring system is proposed, and the key points of its module design and implementation are given. By real-time monitoring operation status and load conditions, and remote controlling processing units, the monitoring system provides a solution for KD-60 to increase resource utilization and reduce power consumption. The monitoring system consists of two subsystems: the processing unit monitoring system and the processing unit controlling system. Processing unit monitoring system is mainly used to monitor basic load and operational status of processing unit, processing unit controlling system is mainly used to control the processing unit. The processing unit monitoring system gets information by reading some specific files under /proc file system, and then acquires the operational status and load of the processing units. The processing unit controlling system controls processors and fans through microcontroller unit. The monitoring system makes use of hierarchical model to obtain good adaptability. By using synthesis design of C/S and B/S modes, the monitoring system is easy to use and maintain. The practical operation and experiment results show that, the monitoring system has good stability and high efficiency.

Abstract:A condition monitoring, analysis and diagnosis system for a 300 MW pumped storage generator unit is introduced. The purpose of developing this system is to provide suggestion for preventive maintenance. Structural parameters, operating characteristics and common faults of the unit are analyzed first. The hardware and sensors distribution of the system are discussed. Function modules and data flow-chart are given based on the user's requirements. Finally, its application to a unit is presented. The software is designed on the Windows-NT network platform. The system has been successfully put into operation.

Abstract:Taking remote monitoring of atmosphere-quality as an example, we explore the idea and architecture of the MIB (Management Information Base). We analyzed the characteristics of these monitoring systems, present information models for them, defined proprietary application layer protocols dedicated to these monitoring systems. Monitoring information is organized and stored in absolutely-layered constructions. The proprietary application layer protocols are designed by the authors and decrease the delay of monitored data transmissions.

Abstract:This system is designed for the remote monitoring of the mechanical refrigeration trains. The communication platform based on the satellite communication and GSM SMS communication system is established in this system. And the two-way real-time communication link between the locomotive unit and the monitoring center is also established. Based on the electronic map technology, the real-time position track of the mechanical refrigeration trains can be displayed. This system has realized the remote monitoring and dispatching of the mechanical refrigeration trains and resolved the problem of the remote monitoring of the mechanical refrigeration trains. In this paper, the system architecture has been discussed briefly, and how each model is designed has also been discussed, which may provide good ideas for developing other remote monitoring systems.
