The Hot Topics of Mathematics Education Research in China in the Past Twenty Years ——empirical Analysis Based on the Scientific Knowledge Graph

Abstract:Starting from the exploration of hot topics in the field of mathematics education research in China, taking 1727 CSSCI indexed papers on mathematics education research in CNKI in the past two decades as samples, based on the empirical analysis of the scientific knowledge graph, the paper analyzed the field of mathematics education from five dimensions: the distribution of overall publishing trend, core authors, core journals, core research institutions and research topics. The study found that the research on mathematics education in China has generally shown a trend of steady growth with fluctuations, and the number of published papers has declined in the past five years; university researchers and normal colleges and universities are the main force and main base for mathematics education research; the research topics mainly focus on mathematics teaching, mathematics learning theory, mathematics teacher education, mathematics curriculum theory and practice, mathematics textbook, mathematics education evaluation, mathematics history and mathematics education, mathematics culture, mathematics education technology,minority mathematics education, etc. In the field of mathematics education in China, we should promote the mathematics education researchers to track the progress of mathematics education and provide reference for China’s mathematics education decision-making and mathematics education reform.
