Abstract:s: An overall structured model for CAPP system of EDM is configured based on analysis on technology for EDM. The model uses automatic electrode_separating and _restructuring method to process complex cavities with simple electrodes, hence reducing the processing cost; it makes decision on process by using the intelligent decision system for process instructions based on simple Petri network model; it realizes intelligent selection for electric criteria with hybrid intelligence, and optimizes the process by setting up multi_tasks planning model with priority level_weight coefficient methodology.
