Abstract:Objective To study the clinical significance and applied value of invasive ventilator in patients with se-vere acute heart failure. Methods 36 cases of patients with a clinical diagnosis of severe acute heart failure were selected. The treatment effect was poor through conventional medication. Then the orotracheal intubation ventilator-assisted ventilation was performed in time. The clinical curative effect,blood gas analysis before and after treatment for 24h and after the machine withdraw,and the concentration of BNP in plasma were observed. Results After treatment for 24h,22 cases were effective,14 cases were invalid,and the efficiency was 61. 11% in all the patients. 10 cases of the patients required active discharged from hospital,and 4 cases died. 3 patients died from cardiogenic shock,and 1 case died of pulmonary infection. The hypoxia condi-tion of all the patients underwent invasive ventilator treatment had improved in different degrees. The concentration of BNP in plasma after 24h treatment and after weaning was significantly lower than that before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P﹤0. 05). The concentration of BNP in plasma in effective patients(22 cases)was significantly lower than that of invalid patients(14cases),the difference was statistically significant(P﹤0. 05). Conclusion For patients with severe acute heart failure,when the conventional treatment results are poor or the patients have coma,dying,the tracheal intubation should be performed in time for invasive respiratory support,which can rapidly improve hypoxemia and CO2 retention,decreased sig-nificantly the concentration of BNP,improve cardiac function and increase the survival rate.
