The Research on a Congestion Control Model in ATM WAN

Abstract:The paper presents the important technology for congestion control of ATM WAN,especially a new architecture model,which borrows the traffic control scheme from requirements.And enhance it with a traffic control model based on rate control with credit control which has been provided.On the one hand,it provides a service with full support for timing and priority requirements.On the other hand,buffer overflow is avoided.The performance of the model has been analyzed.
